A large and a small dog park, both fully covered by mulch. The large dog park is maybe 50 x 80’, and the small dog park is maybe 15’ x 50’. There’s no water to be had in small dog park. However, that area is more shaded than the large dog park. All the other pictures show lots of green grass, but that’s not in the actual dog park 🤷🏼‍♀️

Services Offered

The St Pete Beach Dog Park provides essential services and amenities to ensure a functional and enjoyable experience for dogs and their owners:

  • Separate Large and Small Dog Parks: The facility features two distinct, fully fenced areas: one specifically designed for larger dogs (approximately 50’ x 80’) and another for smaller dogs (approximately 15’ x 50’), promoting safe and appropriate play for all sizes.
  • Mulched Surface: Both dog park areas are primarily covered with mulch, which helps with drainage and can be a softer surface for dog paws compared to pavement.
  • Shaded Areas: The small dog park, in particular, is noted for being "more shaded than the large dog park," offering some respite from the Florida sun. There are also likely shaded benches for owners.
  • Water Access (Large Dog Park): While the small dog park may not have water, it is typical for the larger section to offer water stations or fountains for hydration.
  • Dog Waste Stations: Common in well-maintained public parks, these stations provide bags and receptacles for proper pet waste disposal, promoting cleanliness.
  • Benches/Seating: Seating options are available within the dog park areas for owners to rest while supervising their pets.
  • Free Entry: There is no cost to enter and use the dog park.
  • Restrooms: While not directly inside the dog park, clean public restrooms are available within the larger McKenney Park.

Beautiful park as usual in St Pete Beach. The grounds are immaculate with a small/large dog park, playground and picnic area with charcoal grills. You can also rent paddle boards and you are almost certain to see dolphins here on any given day. Definitely recommend

Nice little stop for a quick break that's dockside. Playground for the kids and dog doodoo station. Has one of the prettiest trees I've ever seen

Love this place. Well kept dog park. Clean public restrooms. Beautiful water front. Sometimes the restaurant next door plays live music and it's really nice.

This place was amazing with the sunset view. We took our dog for swimming. The dog had so much fun. Only concern is they should have kept water tap for dogs.
