One of the most praised aspects of this dog park is its accessibility for drivers. Unlike some urban parks where parking can be a challenge, visitors consistently note that "parking is also nice! As a public off-leash dog park maintained by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, St. Anthony Parkway Off-Leash Dog Park does not typically run commercial promotions or special offers in the way a private business might. Its value proposition is inherent in its role as a publicly accessible and well-maintained recreational space for the community and their canine companions.
However, the park continually offers several key benefits that can be considered invaluable "special offers" to local dog owners:
- Free Access: The most significant "offer" is the free entry and use of the park. While Minneapolis city dog parks generally require an annual or daily permit, the physical access to the space itself is provided without an additional per-visit fee beyond that permit. This makes regular exercise for your dog highly affordable.
- Health and Wellness Benefits: The park facilitates essential physical activity and mental stimulation for dogs, contributing directly to their health and preventing behavioral issues. This ongoing benefit to your dog's well-being is priceless.
- Social Enrichment: Providing a consistent environment for dogs to socialize with their peers is a massive "offer" in terms of developing well-adjusted and confident pets. It's a crucial part of responsible dog ownership.
- Community Engagement: The park fosters a sense of community among local dog owners, creating opportunities for new friendships and shared experiences. This social network can be a significant support system for pet parents.
- Natural Escape: Despite its urban location, the park offers a natural setting with trees and varied ground cover, providing a refreshing escape from the concrete jungle for both dogs and their owners. This daily dose of nature is a valuable commodity in city life.
While you won't find traditional sales or discounts, the consistent availability of a high-quality, safe, and engaging environment for your dog's exercise and socialization is the continuous "special offer" that St. Anthony Parkway Off-Leash Dog Park provides to the Minneapolis community.

Jan 22, 2025 · Daniel SCool park! It's one of the biggest I've been. My dog enjoyed a lot! Also I came with my baby in the carrier, and it was nice there are some picnic tables so we could rest a bit ;)
May 29, 2024 · Ana Laura MunguíaBoth my previous heeler-mix rescue (RIP, Riley!) and my current heeler-mix rescue (love you, Larry!) have had so much fun here! If your pup is social and playful, then there are usually at least a few other dogs in the park that are happy to hang, and if your pup is a bit more reserved, then you can still enjoy walking with them from one end of the park to the other (it's a "long and narrow-ish" shape), letting them explore and sniff everything along the way while primarily being left alone by other dogs and their owners. Please use common sense and do your due diligence on doggie body language, if you haven't already, just to be extra safe! :)
