I love coming to this place. I drive from Anthem and this is usually my go to.. They always have feeders, They always answer my questions, And sometimes I have weird questions, I also have been a snake owner for almost 8 years.. And there’s still sometimes I get stumped with something or needed advice.. The people there are always so helpful and so respectful. Their snakes look like they’re in happy environments and they seem well and they have decent prices, I mainly just go to grab feeders, but I would say if you’re considering on buying a reptile, I would buy it from this place because it’s worth supporting this business

I went to get a baby rat for my ball python and Trinity helped me out. She was a huge help and very friendly and knowledgeable on everything I asked her. She even helped get the rest of my babys shedding off. Thank you Trinity and Scales N' Tails for everything. I love going there and will continue. Definitely my favorite pet store. I trust you all and you know what you're doing. I very much appreciate everything you did for me today!

Over the phone I was told they only had larges, no jumbos. I ask to get the biggest large they have when I arrived. I see it and must have expressed too much excitement because the manager/owner then declares it the “one jumbo”. That can’t be true because I thought they would have checked the order and sorted the rats for sizes. I worked in a reptile store that grew their own rats. I’m not saying it couldn’t be a jumbo but I expect to pay for a large when I am told you only have larges. So greedy. Back to new ownership from what I can guess. You know; the person that is always eating and talking. Another time one of ‘em fully yelled at one of the employees. I went there out of convenience but the way the staff and I have been treated forces me to accept that I no longer can use my money at this business.

I go here to get food for my baby gecko 🦎 these guys are all so nice! Very friendly and informative, they've been helping me out since I found the little buddy. Definitely recommend the bugs here! Very much alive and thriving, never stinky, and Ziggy the spoiled house gecko loves them. (Video and photo of the flies after 3 weeks)

I’ve been a bearded dragon owner since 2011. About 4 years ago, I had to give up my last bearded due to life stuff happening. A few days ago, my wife and I walked in, and was immediately greeted by Trinity. Girl was high on energy, passion, and pure love for these animals. She asked if she could help, to which we were looking for a beardie. Trinity, and all her amazing attitude walked us over to the baby beardies. We got hands on with the animals, and just sat on the ground with her talking and chatting like we were life long friends. Unlike other reptile stores, these guys actually know where they get their animals from, so having a “Petco” mishap won’t happen. We ended up taking home a baby male beardie and some Dubias to start our colony. Dave made a huge impression on me, not only because we are both Marines, but his knowledge of the animals in unlike anyone I’ve seen! Ever since then, I’ve been in the shop almost every day just looking around, asking questions and enjoying the amazing vibe they have there. One of the other guys that works there sat with me for probably 20-30 minutes just talking about care for monitors, and really sold me on the plan of one day, dabbling my toe into the world of monitor lizards. I purchased a CHE, which wasn’t strong enough. The store was able to exchange the 60watt for a 150watt no questions asked. Unfortunately, the 150 burned out within the day, to which they even exchanged for a heat mat, once again, no questions asked. Really made the headache go away! Today, my wife and I ended up picking up another beardie (female this time), and once again, was blown away by their attitude, passion, love, and drive for the animals. They care about you as a customer, but more importantly, you as a human. I will NEVER shop at any other reptile shop other than Scales N Tails on Thunderbird! Thank you Trinity, Dave, and the other 2 guys (I’m really sorry I don’t remember your names) for your hospitality. The Lillywhite family appreciates you. P.S. don’t worry. Both beardies are in separate enclosures now :)
