READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY!! Think twice before getting a dog from Puppygram and be very careful if you decide to! We regret not reading the reviews before deciding to spend over $3.5k to get our "male", NOW FEMALE puppy from Puppygram. We went in and quickly bonded with a "male" Havanese puppy which also had a boy name of Jake so naturally we all thought that our now little girl was a little boy since everything there stated that she was a boy. A few days ago, we took our dog to the vet to get her vaccines and the vet tech asked us, "Did you know your dog is a girl, not a boy?" Of course we were shocked because all this time we thought she was a boy because all her paperwork said that she was and all the information provided by Puppygram stated that she was. We went to Puppygram to inquire about this issue and Jackie, the lady at the shop, was less than helpful and provided us the worst customer service. Ultimately, she said that it wasn't their problem and that the mishap was on behalf of the breeder, not Puppygram. Additionally, she kept trying to assure us that the information she had given us the day we got our dog was correct and that the breeder just got her gender wrong. We were not convinced, so we brought our dog to get her microchip scanned and it was a DIFFERENT NUMBER than the one given to us by Puppygram! The information provided to us by Puppygram was for an entirely different dog. The breeder making a mistake is one thing, but Puppygram is the one directly selling the dogs to customers so you would think that they take responsibility to look over paperwork, ensuring that it is correct and most importantly being understanding when mishaps like this happen and to be willing to work with the customer to obtain the right information for their dog that they spent thousands of dollars for! We still love our puppy regardless of her gender, but this is such an irresponsible thing to have happened on behalf of Puppygram that they aren't even willing to take responsibility for. Additionally, we asked for the breeder's contact information so that we could maybe get some more information about how this could have happened and Puppygram said that they cannot give out a phone number as their breeders sell through their business so they could have anonymity, which is really sketchy. You are better off going to a reputable and responsible breeder that can give you a puppy that is ensured to be what it is at a more reasonable price!

Puppygram Indiana Introduce

Puppygram Indiana, located at 9546 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250, USA, is a pet store where you can inquire about purchasing puppies. They can be reached at (317) 288-2664 or +1 317-288-2664.

However, it is crucial for potential customers to be aware of significant negative feedback from recent buyers before considering purchasing a dog from Puppygram Indiana. One detailed review recounts a troubling experience where a customer purchased what they believed to be a male Havanese puppy named Jake, only to discover later from their veterinarian that the puppy was female. Despite all paperwork and information from Puppygram indicating the puppy was male, this proved to be incorrect.

Further investigation revealed a more alarming issue: the puppy's microchip number did not match the number provided by Puppygram, suggesting that the information given to the customer was for an entirely different dog. The customer reported unhelpful and dismissive customer service from a staff member named Jackie, who allegedly refused to take responsibility for the discrepancy, attributing it solely to the breeder. The store also declined to provide the breeder's contact information, citing the breeder's desire for anonymity, which the reviewer found "sketchy." This customer strongly advises others to think twice before buying from Puppygram and suggests seeking reputable breeders instead.

Another review paints a concerning picture of the conditions in which some of the puppies are kept. This customer described purchasing a five-month-old puppy with matted hair that had been living in a small cage without soft bedding. While this customer states they love the dog they "rescued" from Puppygram, their account raises serious questions about the welfare and living conditions of the animals at this establishment. This reviewer believes the primary motivation of Puppygram is profit.

Given these serious allegations of misrepresentation of puppy information and concerns about animal welfare, local users searching for a "Pet Store Near Me" offering puppies should exercise extreme caution and carefully consider these reviews before engaging with Puppygram Indiana. It is strongly recommended to thoroughly investigate the store's practices and consider alternative, more reputable sources for purchasing a pet.

I initially tried to rescue a dog, but the cost was $400. I found puppy gram online and got a dog for $250 that had matted hair, lived in a tiny cage with nothing soft to sleep on—-so I really thought I was rescuing her—at 5 months old. I love her and I saved her and I cleaned her up and am giving her love and a comfortable home in which she thinks is her entire potty room. These people are in it to make tons of money, that’s all.

If I could give this place (or employee, honestly) 0 stars I would. I decided to take my partner and his little brother here to look at puppies to potentially take home. I have been looking around for a pup for awhile now and believed you could ask to get a puppy out to play with to see if you will connect enough to bring home. We had been in the day before and it was a different worker, we unfortunately came too late in the day (they shut down puppy viewing an hour to close) so she told us to come in the next day. We do, and it is a different worker. Immediately felt judged the second I walked in the door. We were browsing and found the puppy we wanted to see yesterday, we asked to see it, and the one of the ladies with brown/dark hair (don't know her name) started complaining saying we could only get it out if we were 100% ready to purchase. I said we just wanted to look because I wasn't sure of the puppies personality, but I was serious about potentially purchasing if all went well. She said she can only get them out if we are 100% because they will have diarrhea. Meanwhile the older couple next to us had just gotten out their 3rd puppy of the visit. She also decided to make a snarky, attitude-filled comment on the price of the puppy, saying "Are you sure you can pay for that? He's expensive." Are you implying that I don't have enough money to pay for the puppy? Really? I'm pretty sure the only reason she acted like this and treated us unfairly was because we are young adults and had a child with us. If the puppies are having diarrhea every time you bring them out of their kennel...they are sick. Ironically enough, after this interaction I Googled other places to buy puppies, and ended up going to Uncle Bills down the road to purchase my new Pomeranian, Reggie! He is coming home Thursday and I couldn't be happier. Horrible customer service at Puppygram, go somewhere else to buy a puppy, find a breeder or adopt from a shelter.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING PUPPIES FROM THIS STORE!!! I recently just brought home a new addition! The most playful and cutest Beagle if I do say so myself!!!! In fact I’m coming back to get another puppy tomorrow.!! Kaylee and Shannon (sorry if I misspelled you sweet lady’s names) were the nicest people I’ve come across in a while! They helped me with my adoption and stayed a hour after closing! I greatly appreciate their kindness ! All of the puppies were highly maintained and healthy with up to date shots and vet care paperwork. They gave great in depth detail about the care and diet of each puppy and even offered some personality traits! And even their new hire (which I didn’t catch her name) was super helpful and kind! The store is well maintained and always clean! P.S. the first picture is my new baby girl at home and the second is in the holding room with the puppy at the store. (They also provide financing so you can bring your new fur baby home!!)

I do not like leaving bad Google reviews. In fact, I usually only leave a review if it is good. So, this is not done lightly and is left here only to protect others from going through what we are. Also, I did call the store to try to get assistance. The gal told me she wasn't a vet and didn't know the dog was so sick or contagious when they sold it to me. My vet says differently as the records Puppy Gram provided show the dog was treated for two contagious parasites - Giardia, which he still has, and one other that he currently does not. Considering the dog had extremely severe diarrhea the moment I brought him home and he'd been treated for it, I am finding it very hard to believe they didn't know that something was wrong with the dog. Also, in addition to Giardia, the puppy also has a contagious lung virus that he was not previously treated for and was not in his records. Bringing the puppy home with Giardia and the viral lung infection has caused our other two dogs to become sick. I have been sick with diarrhea, as well as Giardia is not only contagious to dogs, but also to humans. It is also very likely that every dog in the store has Giardia since it is highly contagious and since the puppies are put into the middle of the floor in a fenced area to play together. (Cute, I agree...but not wise when there's Giardia running through a facility.) The Giardia and lung infection have caused all our dogs to have diarrhea, vomiting, and fluid in their lungs. We've had to pay for two vet visits that included xrays for each of them. They are also now on 8 different medications each. So, not only are we having to give 24 doses of meds a day to the three dogs, but it will likely take months to clear the Giardia from our dogs, home, and yard. Here's how we are trying to clear it - We are scooping poop twice daily to prevent reinfection, washing their paws and butts when they come back in from outside, mopping the floor multiple times a day, washing their bedding and toys every day, and will be taking a torch to the grass as soon as the rain and snow stop to try to kill the Giardia rather than wait until summer. Yes, Giardia can live up to two months in the yard and will not die until it is dry and there are warm temperatures for some time (not likely until at least May). So, it is going to be here for months unless we use a torch to kill it. This has completely upended our lives as we spend hours and hours every day trying to protect them and ourselves. I had never heard of Giardia before we brought this puppy home. If I had, I would have thought long and hard about bringing another dog into our home...ever. I will never buy another puppy from Puppy Gram and I recommend you take a pass, as well. I'm furious, tired, and disgusted.
