Welcome to Puppies Tampa
For individuals and families in the Tampa, Florida area eager to welcome a new canine member into their lives, Puppies Tampa, situated at 6031 N Dale Mabry Hwy, positions itself within the "Pet Store Near Me" category as a potential source for acquiring a puppy. This establishment focuses specifically on offering puppies of various breeds for sale. To provide a comprehensive and objective introduction for local users, it is essential to consider the environment of the store, the services they offer, the features highlighted by customer experiences, and any indications of promotional activities, all based on the available online reviews.
Based on the limited review information, specific details about the environment of Puppies Tampa are not extensively described. However, as a store specializing in puppies, it can be inferred that the environment would be designed to house and care for young dogs of different breeds and sizes. This would likely include designated areas for housing the puppies, ensuring their comfort, safety, and hygiene. Prospective buyers might expect to see clean and adequately sized enclosures, provisions for feeding and watering, and potentially areas where customers can interact with the puppies under the supervision of the staff. The overall environment would ideally prioritize the health and well-being of the puppies awaiting their forever homes.
The primary service offered by Puppies Tampa is the sale of puppies. The reviews mention the availability of various breeds, including mini schnauzers and yorkies. This suggests that the store sources puppies of different types to cater to a range of preferences. The staff is described by one reviewer as "very friendly and knowledgeable about all the different breeds they had available," indicating that they can provide information and guidance to potential buyers regarding the characteristics and needs of different breeds. This consultation service can be valuable in helping families choose a puppy that aligns with their lifestyle and preferences. The process of purchasing a puppy would likely involve interacting with the staff, potentially spending time with the puppies, and completing the necessary paperwork.
Features of Puppies Tampa, as gleaned from customer experiences, include the friendliness and knowledgeability of the staff. This positive interaction can contribute significantly to a buyer's experience, especially when making an important decision like choosing a new pet. The availability of different breeds is another feature, offering a selection for prospective owners to consider. Furthermore, initial impressions from some buyers suggest that the puppies appear healthy and happy at the time of purchase. One reviewer specifically mentioned their mini schnauzer as "very healthy and happy." The store's location on N Dale Mabry Hwy in Tampa makes it accessible to local residents.
However, it is crucial to note a significant concern raised in an updated review regarding the breed accuracy of a puppy purchased from Puppies Tampa. While the initial experience was positive, with a seemingly healthy yorkie, the puppy later grew much larger than expected for the breed and developed gray hairs, leading the owner to question its true breed. This raises a potential issue regarding the accurate identification and representation of the breeds sold at the store. While the owner still expressed affection for their dog, the discrepancy in breed characteristics is a factor that prospective buyers should be aware of and potentially discuss with the staff before making a purchase.
The provided information does not include any specific details about health guarantees, veterinary checks performed on the puppies prior to sale, or any post-purchase support offered by Puppies Tampa. It is standard practice for reputable breeders and pet stores to provide some form of health guarantee and to ensure that puppies have received initial vaccinations and veterinary examinations. Potential buyers should inquire about these aspects, including the health history of the puppy, any guarantees offered against congenital issues, and the availability of veterinary records.
Similarly, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers or special deals at Puppies Tampa. Pet stores sometimes have seasonal promotions, discounts on certain breeds, or financing options. Interested buyers should directly inquire with the store about any ongoing promotions or payment options available.
In conclusion, Puppies Tampa on N Dale Mabry Hwy in Tampa offers a place for local residents to find and purchase puppies of various breeds. Initial customer experiences highlight a friendly and knowledgeable staff and seemingly healthy puppies. However, a significant concern has been raised regarding the accuracy of breed representation, with one customer reporting that their "yorkie" grew much larger than expected and developed characteristics not typical of the breed. This discrepancy is an important point for potential buyers to consider and discuss with the store. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the environment where the puppies are housed, the full range of services offered (including health guarantees and veterinary care provided), the accuracy of breed information, and any available promotions, it is strongly recommended that prospective buyers visit Puppies Tampa in person and ask detailed questions before making a decision. While the prospect of adding a "special bundle of joy" to the family is appealing, thorough due diligence is essential when acquiring a pet.

Mar 06, 2020 · Joan HillWe got our puppy Rex here, no problems so far, healthy, fun loving yorkie! Update: our puppy is 6 months still very healthy, just a little on the big side for a yorkie. Update: get 2 stars because my dog is very sweet, but he is way too big to be a yorkie, and he is getting gray hair down his back.
Feb 06, 2019 · Paula RestrepoAmazing puppies here they are supper clean and offer the best deals in town. They also provide a great 14 day period where you can take your dog to the vet and they will cover the full bill and any medications if needed. I have purchased 2 dogs from here and I will always come back if i ever wanted another dog.
Mar 14, 2018 · Joel SantallanaI bought a miniature Schnauzer from here and i plan on going today to get another one. The schnauzer i have, 6 years later is still the happiest pup ever healthy as can be. The selection is decent and all the puppies but maybe 1 or 2 were very excited and playful all jumpy and happy. I always see them cleaning the cages, and they have crazy discounts. My dog was set for 1,600$ and they were able to give him to me for 500$. For sure would keep coming here if I had any more plans on buying puppies. some of the staff didnt know what they were talking about buy one lady - wish I could remember her name - was very helpful.
Dec 30, 2017 · Eliany Cardenas (soul_rider456)They had at the time of my visit a disproportionate number of small puppies, with few larger breeds. The space is small, with very few play areas for getting to know your possible puppy. Pricing seemed about average, perhaps slightly on the high side. Staff though was friendly and helpful without being pushy.
