Took my dog for her regular yearly exam, purchased tick and flea meds in January....we keep her on it all year. They did all other vaccinations but come to find out the did not do her rabies vaccine, did not say they weren't doing it, didn't ask about it, did not tell me it was coming due, we also do grooming there. Went to take her for her grooming appointment, they did mention that they needed information about updated vaccines, knowing I go to the vet there, I thought no problem they transfer over...got there they wanted rabies information, I went over to vet hospital, they hadn't done it with her last visit in January, why? Wouldn't that be part of the assessment, being a vet hospital/vaccination clinic? So over a $500 visit but they didn't ask about rabies? And didn't give that vaccine after giving all the others? Doesn't make any sense whatsoever! Do better Petco..do better.

The staff that took care of my girl, I didn’t like so much. Always canceling my appointments and just as she was to receive a free haircut, I was told they were going to refuse her from ever coming to them again and refused to do the free cut I was owed. She had a panic attack that day and wasn’t feeling it. How convenient to refuse her ever again on a day that was to be free. They didn’t lose any $$$ because of it. My girl is a great dog. They just didn’t want to take the time to do her properly so they shaved her bald every four months. It’s all about getting them in and out quickly. Got to make that $$$. I always paid over 100$ each visit plus I gave a tip. Hoping that they would treat her well. Lesson learned. Never again.

I took my puppy Balto here January 26,2025 they were really sweet and nice the only problem we had was they had his age and date of birth wrong and he got sick when we got home I just think it’s because he over did it because he was playing with our other dog and my boyfriend’s nephews so we had to call and get that changed and they were respectful about that definitely will be taking him back to get his updated shots and medications 😊😊😊
