Petco

I have shopped at the Petco for years for all my animals needs. Recently we adopted a fur pup that is a very picky eater, even the vet was at a loss. I have been spending a ton trying to find the right combination for him. Picking up crickets for the lizard and food for the other animals I began to tell associate Chris about my dilemma, seriously getting worried about this new fur baby. He walked back with me to the dog food and began explaining the difference and what might be my next best try! After letting him know the fresh was totally out of my price range we settled on a freeze dried version that I prepared with minimum effort. Bingo the pup ate it all and that is a first in three weeks!! I know it’s his job, but I really felt that he cared about my issue and was going to do whatever it was he could to help me. This is not my first interaction with Chris, he is always so helpful and pleasant, it is the one that made me feel the need to give him a shout out and a word of gratitude for all you do! Thank you to all of the staff at Petco, they are amazing!!

Had a curbside pickup order. Got there and there were no designated curbside spots. App said to park out front. Got a parking spot right in the front. Confirmed with the app I was there. Twice more I was prompted to remind them that I was there for my pick up. After 30 minutes.of waiting and TEN unanswered phone calls I was forced to leave. It is a 15 minute drive out of my way. They would not answer the phone the entire evening as I continued to call to speak to a manager to ask why they are advertising curbside pickup but don't complete the orders. Never did get anyone to answer the phone......

This review goes out to the wonderful staff that helped my daughter last night with her dying hamster. With all your kindness and help towards the situation. I appreciate 🙏 you so much. Thank you for helping her ❤️.

The employees in the grooming area are the worst that can exist, I think they are doing the wrong job, especially the manager Kris and Amanda, both of them dismissed me from 5 appointments without giving me a reason. Don't bother calling customer service and filing a complaint, because they will never help you. I really missed Tisha, she was always kind and never cancelled an appointment. but she doesn't work at petco anymore. If you love your dog, never bring him to this store. They cancelled me 5 times and I see they put a warning on the app

We had to ask twice for help, waited forever for someone to show up. Received a lecture about fish when we’ve had them for years, which put us off buying any of them. Then no one bothered to help us at checkout, so we walked out with nothing. Will go to the Hagerstown store next time.
