I usually go here for all my pets needs. I went in today to get something for my bearded dragon and couldn’t help but notice the juvenile beardies they had at 40-50% original price. One was abnormally more lethargic than the others. It was also the smallest one. It’s tank mate had pooped all over it, while it lay on the tank floor. The tank is also WAY too cold for young beardies. I brought it to the attention of the girl Cheyenne who helped me at the register. She appeared to care at first, but when I started to mention I WOULD offer to take it and bring it back to health, but I don’t have enough room as I already have one beardie…she shut me down. And extremely rudely said “Well, if he’s sick I wouldn’t sell him to you anyways!” And I left the conversation at that, because I wasn’t about to argue with an ignorant employee. I was offering to take the beardie, and get it healthy, even if not with me, because I have a healthy beardie and know others with healthy beardies. The poor thing is dying in that place. But if you think you can do better, Petco Employee, Cheyenne, then PLEASE DO. Right now you aren’t.

An extra star for friendliness of the staff who are always smiling and willing to help. However despite the smiles they managed to butcher Brownie’s grooming appointment and poor puppy was skinned to the point that he was bleeding in a few spots. This is the first time in this dog life he was treated like a peace of meat - literally like a dog brought for slaughter. Rachel was his technicians and while she apologized for skinning the puppy, the apology did not compensate for the emotional and physical trauma of the pet and his owners:((

My dog utz went today today for the 1st time to have a bath and his nails trimmed. Kristina did a great job. She was very sweet and understanding because utz doesn't like other dogs.she reassured me that everything would be ok. Utz looked so beautiful when I came to pick him up. His coat was soft,shiny he smelled so good.. I received a 25 percent off coupon because it was his first time there. I recommend you take your fur babies to see Kristina.
