Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service at Petco Dear Petco Customer Service, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with an experience I had at your store on November 20, 2024, at approximately 8:30 PM. I brought in my African frog(His name is Knight), purchased from Petco, because it appeared to be in poor health. My intention was to seek advice from your staff and request a free water quality test, as promised by Petco, to determine if the water quality was contributing to the frog’s condition. I brought one liter of water along with the frog in a clean container for testing. However, your employee, Carlos, repeatedly refused to assist me with the water test. Despite Petco’s policy of offering free water sample testing, Carlos insisted that I purchase testing strips myself or return home to collect another sample—an unreasonable suggestion given that the store was closing in less than half an hour. His tone and attitude were unhelpful and dismissive throughout the interaction. Feeling helpless, I had no choice but to return home with my sick pet. This experience has left me deeply disappointed, and I no longer feel comfortable purchasing products or pets from Petco. Moreover, I strongly believe that Carlos lacks the compassion and professionalism necessary to work in a pet store environment. I hope Petco will take this matter seriously and ensure that all employees uphold the values of care and support that your brand promises to its customers. Sincerely, Edmond Hao

Great customer service and the staff were very helpful and insightful regarding aquarium life and maintenance. Keep up the good work 👍🏼

I appreciate the store. They don't get a great variety of fish but I appreciate the workers and it's a nice place to just go that's a local to get premix salt water and sometimes I do buy the fish from the tanks

9:30am on 2/21/2025. Nobody in line as I approach, there are 2 female workersnon they're cell phones trying to figure something out. One tells me, "hi, I'll be right with you" I wait another 2 minutes while they talk, I asked if they could help me and put doen the phones for 1 minute. Of course I get an attitude from both of them. Terrible customer service

The staff was nice and helped me find the perfect collar for my retriever! They even showed me how to use their custom engraving machine! Excellent customer service!
