Stay away from this place!!! If i can give a 0 i would. Scheduled my golden retriever to get a bath and groom before going away to a trip. My appointment was at 10:15 and a groomer named “Vickie” finally decided to come outside and speak with me. Her exact words were that she would be charging me $15 extra on top of the 120$ that I would be spending because she had to “brush” my dog after the bath????? Extremely confused at this point I asked her to be trimmed down to a certain hair level prior to bath just like my service said “BATH AND GROOM” (my golden is 14 years old and I’ve been getting this service for the last 13 years every six months at another location in Ramsey which the girls there have always done an amazing job). “Vickie” Told me that she’s never groomed a golden retriever before and also goldens do not get haircuts?????? therefore I would have to reschedule????. Then She said they DO NOT groom golden retrievers. Her tone and manners disgusted me. Then she had the guts to tell me that if I don’t want to reschedule, she can just speak with the manager. Long story short everyone I took off from work and lost money just to bring my dog to this groomer who refused to honor my appointment because she believed that golden retrievers should not be trimmed down!!! I am the customer not you and this is my golden that looks at least seven years younger because of the way I care for her but thanks a lot!!!!

My dog Astro received a wash and haircut here. The groomer was so cool and friendly. I will edit to add her name. This store has everything you need for that fur friend in your life. My daughters love to just browse the other animals. We love to bring Astro along. You can tell he likes it with that large smile he has.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Petco. I have been taking my dog for grooming services as usual, and on December 31, we picked him up with no complaints or notes about his behavior. Everything seemed perfectly normal. Today, I attempted to book another appointment online, but I was unable to. I called the store and spoke with Manager Crystal, who informed me that my dog had been banned from Petco due to a note from the past groomer, Izzie, stating that he was "biting and moving a lot" during his last grooming session. This was the first time I had ever heard about any issues! As a responsible pet owner, I should have been informed immediately if there was a problem, not blindsided months later when trying to book a new appointment. I asked to speak with Izzy directly to clear up what I believe to be a misunderstanding, only to be told she is on disability leave for two months. When I expressed my frustration over not being informed earlier, Crystal became dismissive, refused to repeat herself, and ultimately hung up on me while I was still talking! This is completely unacceptable behavior for a store manager. If Petco has policies regarding pet behavior, it is their responsibility to communicate with pet owners in a timely and professional manner. Instead, I was treated with rudeness and disregard. This is NOT how a loyal customer should be treated.

We just took a beginner dog training class at Petco with Joe. He was a WONDERFUL instructor who was extremely patient, took his time & always listened to our questions & worked to find answers & strategies to help us. Our dog learned so much in the 6 weeks of training- my husband & I really enjoyed going & learning as well. We truly feel like we walked away with extremely valuable training & can’t wait to take even more classes later on. Thanks petco & Joe!

I booked an appointment at this vet clinic and even confirmed it the day before. On the day of my visit, I was unexpectedly delayed by heavy traffic and the added challenge of traveling with my pet. Rather than receiving a quick call or message to let me know they understood my situation, I arrived to find that my appointment had been silently canceled—the vet had already left. This experience was incredibly frustrating and showed a complete lack of communication and professionalism. I’m left feeling disrespected and will not be returning.
