I had an appointment to bring my dog in at 11 am today. When I showed up, the blonde lady behind the desk appeared to be high. All of the customers in front of me in line were having issues. When I got to the desk to check my dog in, I was told it would be a couple minutes. I ended up waiting with my dog for almost an hour after the appointment time. While waiting, I saw the lady at the desk call someone to let them know their dog was ready to pickup. 10 minutes later the customer walked in to pickup her dog, only to realize that the worker had called the wrong pet owner. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any pet groomer. I will never be back.

Bought some fish to start an aquarium, they told me if they die within 30 days to take it back with receipt and bring water to test so they can help me. 3 fished died and I came back with water and they wouldn’t replace them saying it’s my fault. I’m a new fish owners and needed guidance but instead got no guidance and said I have to buy them again. Jackie was the who didn’t want to replace them after I buy so much from this location and im member Update: went to the Escondido location, they replaced them and were more knowledgeable then Jackie

Very nice Petco! I've only ever been to the older petcos so when I stopped by this one for cat food I was surprised at the newer design. They also had some additional healthy wet food for cars that I've never seen before and so ti tried that out for my cat. Lots of options and well organized.

I went in to get fish there was a young lady named lizzy who was very sweet but a guy named Carlos came to help and was extremely rude and cold it’s one thing to be informative but it’s another thing to take a disrespectful tone and act as if you are being bothered cause how dare I ask you to work at work if ever in this store AVOID CARLOS

I have a my truck full of Palisades evacuated dogs and went in to pick up prescription food for two of them. Even though I tried explain the situation and that I didn’t have much time and needed to tend to my dogs, they Vet refused to hear me. And she insisted to that I needed to set up an account even after I emailed her the prescriptions and she confirmed she had got them. After about 15 minutes and watching her fill out little cards folding cards by hand which I have no idea the purpose for taking several minutes on each I left without the food. I was the only customer there! I went to the Petco on Culver in Irvine and they just said bring it to the counter and show the prescriptions to the teller and that’s it. So it took less than 2 min in and out of the Culver store. This store in San Marcos really needs to review their procedure and customer service as it should not require setting up an account with the Vet and waiting 15+ minutes for the clerks office work to pick up some prescription food! 5 stars to Irvine and 0 to San Marcos for these visits. Hopefully they review and make it quicker and easier with less friction.
