We just left the grooming center with our little chihuahua Chief who just needed his nails trimmed. He can be overly excited but the staff was beyond 5 stars 🌟. They were awesome! The friendly staff made it such a welcoming environment for him that he was so calm. We definitely will return. Thank you for the quick service and best 1st experience ever.

I volunteered to take care of the cats at the Green Valley Petco location on weekends. The manager Donna has multiple bad reviews on this site and they are justified. I personally experienced her discriminating rules regarding cat adoptions that did not apply to the dog adoptions or even cat adoptions at other Petco locations. Unbelievably, customers could not touch the cats at all at this location. How ridiculous! Adoption facilities worldwide of course allow this as part of the adoption process. I'm sure this rule was put into place after one of her employees was bitten by a cat that she was manhandling because prospective adopters could touch them before this incident but not after. Shouldn't blame the cat. But she did. She and the irresponsible employee should have addressed their own issues . Not only could customers touch the dogs up for adoption but they could hold them outside the facility and bring them inside and hold them. Couldn't touch a cat in a cage though. The cats could not have treats or wet food at this location but other Petco's allowed it. There was always something she felt she had to do to make the cats miserable and sabotage their adoptions. Discrimination seemed to spill over to people as well. She and the cat supplier manager fought like little girls and neither wanted to put cats in this store because of this. They could not mature and get along for the sake of finding these cats good homes. The star is because of employee Gabe and all of the groomers who, besides myself, adored the cats and spent time making sure they were loved . Sad the people in charge could not do the same.

Always friendly staff whenever I stop in to shop. The merchandise in the aisles are stocked up, inside is clean and we like the Petco rewards incentives. We also like the Petco Grooming inside this location. Hard working friendly staff making sure that each Fur-Baby is well groomed. Our go to stylist, Shai-Anne is so sweet, she’s awesome and always takes good care with our Fur-Babies Libby and Oscar.

You can find everything in this store and every time I buy something there I can donate something, but I think the donations are for fun because they have cats for adoption in a dirty, very small space, and with a very bad smell of poop, especially when you know that cats are a clean animal. It was very depressing to see them in such a bad state apart from the fact that they had them as if they were drugged and didn't even move and for adoption for a little more than $200, what a shame.

Melissa has been grooming my pets for the last 3 years - I trust no one else with them she has been so consistent and they come out looking like little gentlemen. I have a new puppy after my Bandit passed, and I still came back to her - my new baby acted like he's known her all 28 weeks of his life he was so excited to meet her. The rest of the Petco staff are awesome as well I really feel like all of them are a part of our family they take such great care of my baby! Thank you!!
