Petco

I brought my dogs for an outing and I spent a lot of money more than I would spend on Amazon… Not to mention nobody helped me and when I was checking out trying to juggle everything the only thing the guy could ask me is if I needed a bag? Nobody helped me in the store and I also am upset that he made me take the harness off that I want to buy because he could not find the tag, however, that didn’t work so he had to go get another one to get the price anyway. Just not sure what happened to customer service in general, I used to enjoy going to the pet store now I’m just going to order from my sofa

I stopped at Petco today to pick up some dog treats as a gift for a friend. I was amazed at what a great store this really is. They have a wonderful slection of everything for dogs, food, treats, toys, beds, and more. Petco has even more things for cats. They also have aquariums and all kinds of supplies for fish. They also have reptiles and cages for them. The staff was super friendly and happy to answer any questions that I may have had. I fun experience, I definitely plan on going back.

The management lacks the skill and ability to resolve issues. I was emailed a coupon for in store use. I checked with staff before shopping to find out what items would be eligible. No matter what I brought to the check out the coupon would not work. One younger employee tried to help, which I appreciated. At some point the manager who was feeding the reptiles came to assist. She wasn’t able to understand the issue at first so I did my best to explain and she still didn’t understand. I asked again if the items were eligible and for help finding eligible items. She refused to help. She couldn’t explain why the coupon wasn’t working. There was no effort from the employees to fix the issue. I left without making a purchase and went to another Petco where I was able to purchase the items. Later on I went back to this location and asked for a manager. The same lizard lady was there and I knew she was not going to be capable. I was given a phone number for the store manager, Chris. I called and texted and never got a response from Chris. The whole experience was disgraceful. This location deserves to go out of business.

The clerk asked for my pals phone number. I bought The Daily by Native Pet which was n promotion for $14.99 (regular price $19.99) and Stella and chewy meal mixer treats which were also on promotion. I wanted to use a $3 off coupon for Stella and Chewy, which was the only discount applied. So I paid full price for these 2 items and also lost my mfg coupon. This was a disappointment. I also can’t get any of my points apparently. This points system doesn’t make any sense, why don’t you just give everyone a discount rather than ask the customer to give out their personal info to strangers who don’t even use their info to hook up the customers? Such a mindless, sad place. 5 stars for just being there and dealing with such nonsense.

I am a Petco vital care member and it’s a fantastic program unlimited vet visits for my pups plus discounts on food and grooming and other perks. Sarah from the grooming department always does a fantastic job on my two little pups.
