I made an appointment for grooming. I let them know my dog was a rescue and had an issue. I went for the appointment only to be told they could not groom him because of this issue. They could have informed me of this before I left and went for my appointment. He hasn’t had any issues in a year, which I told them, but they still wouldn’t take them even though I gave them the number of his vet and all vaccinations have been done. Terrible service I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone for grooming or anything else for that matter.

The Petco staff were exceptionally helpful in assisting me with selecting the very best chew for my 7-month old Bernedoodle. Their knowledge on the choices was extensive and extremely helpful. Well done!

Terrible experience at Grooming today. Been bringing our dog here for years and have always been pleased. Today I got a call back early because the dog, who is older was too tired for grooming. Not being able to bath him anymore was one thing but that lead to terrible, uneven half trim which now reqyuires me to take him for another trim. Great news it still cost a fortune. What a disappointment!

I’m not one to write reviews, but I had a horrible experience with the dog grooming here. I’ve taken my dog here for a nail trim before and decided to schedule a bath for my dog. Online, it shows that the bath is $48 (starting price) and when I arrived, the groomer informed me that it would be $83. Almost double the price? She said it was due to my dogs undercoat and depended on how well he did. The groomer then tried to take my dog back, without even introducing herself to him. So, of course, he was very nervous and she continued to try to drag him into the back, still without letting him warm up to her. I received a call roughly 2 hours in that my dog needed to be picked up as he was “under too much stress” and wouldn’t stop barking. I understand it may be frustrating to work with a dog who won’t stop barking, but once again, did she even try to calm him down? We are supposed to be able to trust these people with the care of our animals while we aren’t there. When I came to pick him up, she told me he was still wet as he sat in a cage after his bath because she had to groom another dog before his blow dry. She did knock down the pricing for no blow dry, which I appreciated, but then proceeded to tell me he is no longer allowed to come back for baths (don’t worry, we won’t be returning)! If you care about how your pet is handled while being groomed, do not schedule grooming services here. I was highly disappointed.

I had 2 cases of canned dog food that my dogs decided they didn't want anymore. I was able to return it in exchange for the food that they will eat. No hassle returns! Will continue to shop at Petco!
