Dec 10, 2024 · Nikk NishKevin does a very good job all the time, but the last time I gave my golden doodle for grooming the staff said my dog pooped after grooming and I asked them if they cleaned him, they said yes and I took my dog and I was going home then I noticed there is poop stuck to his tail and legs. I called them and asked them what’s the point of giving him for a bath and a haircut if he’s not clean. Also they didn’t tell me he wasn’t clean and I had to wash him again. They told me they can take him in the next day for a rewash I said no need and I hung up. Next time when I was trying to book the appointment through the app I couldn’t because it said “ Based on your dog's personalized needs and previous appointment history, please call your local Petco grooming salon” . I called the petco store and spoke with Kevin he said he cannot groom my dog because I was rude to their staff on call. He didn’t even listen to me when I said that’s not what happened. He was extremely rude on call. They didn’t even give me time to find another groomer.

May 02, 2025 · Millie SageI took my dog for grooming at your facility, and unfortunately, it was a deeply disappointing experience. My dog was nervous about going in, and as I was trying to calm him down, the staff member(Kevin) handling him was unnecessarily rude from the start. Once i dropped my dog off he said it could 3-4 hours, i dint like the wait time and since it was holiday time i understood they were busy and i did drop my dog off and went home, but i couldnt stop worrying and it stressed me out soo much. So i decided to pull my dog in the middle of the appointment but i did pay the full price without arguing or saying a word because i was the one thats stressed and i just wanted my dog home so i did not make any fuss. I understand the holidays can be a busy and stressful time, but professionalism and compassion are essential when working with pets and their owners. If giving my dog a treat to calm him down is wrong , it could have been communicated kindly, rather than with the dismissive attitude. As a paying customer, I expect a welcoming and supportive environment for my pet. Instead, this experience caused unnecessary anxiety, to the point that I felt compelled to pull my dog out of the appointment. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially in an industry centered around care and trust. I urge you to ensure your staff maintains professionalism and treats both pets and their owners with respect, regardless of the circumstances. And whats even worse is that i was cut off from grooming services and when i called to explain, the manager did not even bother to ask any details. This is not our first time visiting and never did we have a problem like this.
