I took my puppy to Petco today for grooming services, expecting a bath, haircut, teeth brushing, and nail trimming, all of which I paid for. The total charge ended up being $114, even though I was originally quoted $65. When I asked about the price difference, I was given vague and inconsistent reasons. Unfortunately, none of the services I paid for were actually performed. My puppy was returned with the same stains on her body, including her private areas, and eye tear marks. Despite paying for a bath, she was not bathed. The teeth brushing I paid for was skipped, as her teeth looked exactly the same as when I dropped her off. The only thing they did was remove all her hair completely, which was not what I wanted. Additionally, her nails were not trimmed properly. Her nails were still overgrown and not at all trimmed to the standard I expected. To make matters worse, my puppy already had mud on her feet when I dropped her off, and she was returned to me with the same mud still on her feet, which is completely unacceptable. When I raised these concerns, the staff assured me that all services were completed, which was clearly untrue. The overall experience left my puppy in the same, if not worse, condition than when I dropped her off. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism, poor service, and overcharging. I strongly advise against using Petco grooming services. This was the worst experience I've had, and I will never return.

Worst service ever. No one picks up the phone when you call their locations for grooming, in fact they send you to voicemail. If I wanted to check in on my pet I wouldn’t even be able to get an update on how she’s doing. In result, I canceled my appointment and I will NEVER set up another appointment with PET-CRAP.

Horrible management I am transgender and he knew this and continuing to call me sir is just ridiculous. What the assistant manager did was discrimination and nothing happened to him. If you are an ally or are part of the LBGTQ+ Community please avoid this store. The women workers at this store are amazing it's the 2 MALE MANAGERS.

I've been taking my dogs here for years to get baths. Yesterday we brought in our 3 large dogs that were all scheduled to get baths at 10:15. We arrived on time and waited in the grooming waiting room. When they came out they told us we had to leave the room so they could check out another family that wasn't anywhere to be seen. They then called over the intercom for the other person to come get their dog. So we just had to stand there in the middle of the store with our 3 large dogs, waiting, while the person didn't even come. Finally the person came after being called twice on the intercom, was checked out, and then they let us back in. We didn't get checked in until 10:30, 15 minutes after our appt time just so someone else who wasn't even around could go before us. Then, when my husband came to pick them back up, they asked if we ever take our dogs to the vet. He said yes, and then they said they were really concerned because they tried to pick one of our dogs up by the back hips and she squealed and nipped at them. My dog does not have any issues with her hips or back legs and sees a vet regularly, but I can't think of any world where picking up a dog by the hips makes sense. They then proceeded to make negative comments about how many dogs we have, stating that they could never have 3 dogs. I've worked in animal welfare for years and my dogs are treated like princesses, and I'm extremely disappointed in the attitude of these girls that work in the grooming section. I will never be going back. I don't trust them to handle my dogs properly or to provide friendly services.

Trash, very much so trash! I have a Frenchbull puppy. Very low hair. He went in for a bath, brush, nails, ears. He came back and doesn’t smell any different. There is more hair on him floating around my car than the hair in the entire house. He has hair in his eyes. He doesn’t look clean. Only some of his nails are clipped and the ones that are clipped are jagged. I believe this was a very poor job! Heather did a very bad job and I will not be bringing my pup to this store. There is literally a cloud of hair floating off my dog every second I touch him. I really wish we would have never went here.
