Petco

I brought my pet Bronx to be groom 4/4/25 for 3pm. A guy not sure his name asked my pet name and walked off. Another female walked up by the name of Grace verified my pet name. Apparently she was pressed to get off she mentions that she probably won’t be able to cut his hair due to she gets off at 5pm and in the notes he gets anxious. She then goes to check his face to see if he has knots or matted hair. First I didn’t get a good vibe when she came out. I asked her can someone else cut his hair. Mind you it’s 2 others there.she tells me no. I have never seen them put a lease on my dog to take him to the back. She puts a lease on him and starts messing with his face and hands agitating him. He gets hyper and she tells me she cannot cut his hair bc it may take longer. If they did not have time to groom him they shouldn’t have had the time available online. Grace then tells me well I can schedule for a manager to cut his hair on another day. I told her no you want bc I’m not coming back. The customer service was poor and if this is her daily behavior with customers she should not be at the counter interacting with customers. I am very disappointed how I was treated today I will never go back. I gave 1 star bc I had to in order to leave the review.

Wow, talk about a major difference from other pet retail stores not to mention the other pet store I won't say their name. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out I was assisted in the tropical fish area and was able to leave with all the things I needed to set up my 40 gallon breeding tank. The people there are cross-trained in other departments of the store and that makes a difference. I haven't had a good experience like this and quite a long time. The gentleman Connor was extremely helpful very friendly and was able to help me put together quite the beautiful aquarium. Erica was also helpful as she took the time to assist me with our Italian Greyhound and did a fantastic job on her nails. I have so much to say that's good about this store and I have already been back several times.

Store was stocked well when I arrived. Had what I needed. It has become a semi popular item so I had to buy a bit more of it than usual.

The cashier was amazing but when you look online and the 11oz can of kmr formula is 11.99 and you get a 12oz can cause apparently you don't carry the 11oz can. And the price is 34.99 think that is bit strange. 11.99 vs 34.99. Huge giant price gap for 1 oz. I wont be shopping at petco anymore. I'll be shopping my local feed store instead. Unfortunately I needed the formula for a 2 week old abandoned kitten that was starving to death.

This petco staff is the best. My man Connor and my my girls Dakota and mrs Lisa are awesome. Im here all the time for my aquarium supplies/fish. They always have something interesting in their tanks. More than what u would expect to see at any other big box store and their fish is always taken care of.. Love this store
