Hello, first time customer to petco. Today my Shih Tzu had a grooming appointment which the total started with $65.00 as you see. When we arrived that amount went to $99.99 because due to the receipt the groomer paid herself $7.00 for two hours which she says is due to her being matted which was mentioned in the comments when the appointment was booked. The matting was no where severe just needed to be shaved under the belly and arms, legs and ear. Which is the usual for her. (It has been way worse before and we were never charged this amount at PetSmart) The groomer (Denise Wharton) also added a 15 min brush for $15…. So you are charging a dollar to brush her for every minute…. Keep in mind this was all after I declined the special they were having that was $28 extra on top of the grooming already! For the record she didn’t even do a proper job. Tail was left, nails were clumsy and sharp. I think you are taking advantage of people and others should know. Thanks but we won’t be returning

Please be very careful if buying animals at this location. My husband has seen a snake dying and they didn't care. We just saw a tank with over 13 dead fish. Some have obviously been in there a while as the other fish have eaten them, or they have been sucked into the filter.

Took my dog in to get groomed. The stylist Denise charged me $140 because she said she had to remove matting. On the receipt she charged me $15 dollars for brushing 3 consecutive times. She shaved my dog completely to the skin so what was actually brushed? I’ve never had to pay this much and most groomers would have styled my dog! I’ve been to a stylist prior to her and she did the very same shave for the correct price! After taxes and tip I paid $170 dollars. Beware of this stylist.

I brought my dog in for a trim and a bath. The associate who helped me was named Kylie. I brought my dog to other Petco’s in the past. Kylie provided the best customer service as well as our grooming needs. If you’re going to Petco, go see Kylie At the Mill plain location in Vancouver.

Friendly!! Helpful!! (They came up to me and asked what I needed.) Gracious!! (I asked for ten Gold Fish and received twelve. She said, "That's almost ten." Marvelous!) I donated five dollars for the pet welfare fund at checkout. Shop at this Petco. It is a sweet place.
