Feb 22, 2025 · Eric PriddyVery unprofessional. Refused to sell my daughter a turtle lady had to call her manager because I told her I would upgrade tank in a week. The turtles barely 6” anyone with a brain could tell you a 20 gal tank would be fine for a week or so. Do not recommend will never again get my business.
Mar 01, 2025 · Brandon GibsonAwful experience at this store. My spouse and I had decided to get a fish and was helped greatly by one employee. We found a great tank specifically designed for a betta and got everything they recommended. Checking out we double checked with them that we got everything we needed and was told yes. We set everything up the way the directions had told us and wait an extra two days to make sure the water was right. So three days later we went to buy the fish and was met with a very rude and nasty employee Joliette. She told us we were being impulsive and tried to refuse to sell us the fish saying we needed a 5 gallon minimum tank for him (even though they are keeping them in a cup) and that she couldn’t guarantee he would live. She was very rude and talk to us like we were idiots. Needless to say we will no longer be going there.
Apr 14, 2025 · Cherish CaseyBUYER BEWARE We purchased a female panther chameleon on 11/30. I had noticed she had her eyes closed and had a scrape on her mouth. We discussed this with the animal care manager (who is great) and she assured me that if we took her home and she didn’t improve we could bring her back within 30 days and they would take her to the vet. After a week, the chameleon hadn’t improved. Having their eyes closed during the day is a serious sign of illness/stress in a chameleon and needs to be addressed. We called the store on 12/05 and spoke to the general manager. He said to just bring her in the next day and they would get her taken care of. We brought her back to the store on 12/06 where we were met with a rude, argumentative employee who had one reason after another to not take the chameleon back to receive veterinary care. First she argued that we didn’t have an information packet that we were supposed to have been given when we purchased the chameleon. We were never given this packet, but we did have our receipt. Then she argued we had to have the physical card we used to pay with to get a refund so they can take her to the vet. We used tap to pay, and this is false anyway. I’ve returned other items and have never needed the physical card. She then said that if we noticed those issues wrong with the chameleon at the store and still bought her that it was our fault. We had discussed our concerns with the animal manager and she assured us it wouldn’t be an issue to bring her back to receive veterinary care. We finally just left the store and brought the chameleon back home. We will take her to the vet ourselves. Be very cautious purchasing any animals from this store. They don’t want to honor their live animal policy and clearly don’t have genuine care for the animals they sell.
Dec 06, 2024 · Johnna D4 days ago I talked to the district manager and manager of this local in reference to them holding multiple ball pythons in 1 enclosure. I was assured something would be done about this, fast forward to today and nothing has changed. I asked the manager about it and he Said theyr waiting on approval to remove a snake from where it is not supposed to be,then his story changed to the vet says it will be okay, they have 2 crested geckos in an enclosure twice the size of the ball python enclosure underneath! Obviously nothing is going to be done....their animal care had really gone downhill recently amd they see no wrong in it! Not to mention it smells foul by their birds
