Terrible grooming experience with Elijah and manager Paige. Be warned, if your dog has even the smallest matt that could be easily brushed out, they are too lazy and will SHAVE everything off instead. My dog was brought in fully brushed before her appointment to avoid any unnecessary shaving. I picked her up terrified, haircut uneven, and the "report card" read she is calm and cooperative. It’s one thing to make a mistake, but its not ok to lie and say my dogs face was matted when it absolutely was not. And when I expressed my concerns to the manager, she could literally care less and only talked about how I "signed the disclosure form" that Elijah misspoke about (he said he would "cut out any matting, but apparently it says they will "shave," which is how they ended up shaving all of her face). I've taken my dog here for years under the care of Vanessa, but ever since she left we have had horrible experiences. Petco, please don't rush these grooming and praise your groomers for rushed, poor quality, lazy haircuts.

I had an appointment with Hummingbird and arrived 15min. Early to check in and the stylist went on and on about been early is not a good thing, she was very upset and rude, even when I told her that I’ll go outside walk my dog and come back she continue to be rude about the time and was mad about rescheduling my appointment the previous month and asked if I had taken my dog somewhere else because she said the dog had to be Professionally bathe every 4 weeks I explained that we give our dog baths every to weeks and she said it’s no professional baths that I had to take my dog in every 4 weeks. My dog it’s cleaned and it’s brushed everyday and her hair it’s not matted even when the hair stylish ran the comb through her a couple of times she couldn’t find any. I called the store manager Paige and she acted like she doesn’t care about the horrible customer service the stylist Hummingbird gives to repeat customers, I won’t be taking my dog two get grooming there any more, they are rude any very unprofessional, I won’t trust them with my pet

this review has nothing to do with the service that I received at the cashier, or any of the help. However, the woman who is in charge of grooming with the injured hand, made me feel so uncomfortable asking general questions regarding doodle grooming. And then have your audacity to discipline a worker in front of me because he didn’t leave a note about calling someone back. I have never felt unwelcome in any establishment, and this is a first. I extremely will consider any other choice for my dog other than for this store

I have been going to this location for YEARS. The staff at this location is fantastic! They are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. However, in the last few months, since they got a new store manager, something has clearly changed and not for the better. The reason for the 1 star is the store manager Brenna. I was in the store today and witnessed her yelling at and berating employees in front of customers. From her office, she screamed at employees who were asking for clarification during what seemed to be an urgent situation. Her excuse that 2 dogs were loose does not justify the way she spoke to staff. I have never heard a manager speak to an employee like this. It was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. If she speaks to employees this way in front of customers, I can only imagine how she treats them behind closed doors. She clearly is creating a hostile work environment and I hope the company does something to provide these employees some relief from this tyrant. Do not shop here until this person is removed from her position. Go to another location, order on Amazon or head to nearby Wal-mart.

The most disgusting experience ever. Unprofessional and inexperienced so called drs. I took my two cats to get their shots Messi is a tabby breed and is always stressed when he gets his shots so normally he is a bit nervous, we told him he needed gloves for messi just in case, he didn’t put them on and gave him a shot afterwards tells my mom “ dont bring him here again” my mom thought he was joking but no he wasn’t. the other assistant gave a shot for percy a very calm Scottish fold after that she said yes this one too dont bring him back! how unfortunate and pathetic. pick anywhere else if you love your pets
