absolutely disgusting how they mistreat their animals and leave their dead bodies on display. as a hermit crab owner, it is evident that this crab is not only DEAD but it has been for a while. it’s so upsetting seeing the blatant neglect of these animals, especially considering that the staff is fully grown adults. if you’re going to be a 40 year old working at a pet store you should at least bother to do your job well and take care of the animals. i’m so appalled by the poor husbandry of these animals and the blatant lack of respect for their lives. i’m so disappointed by this and i hope that those responsible for the demise of this animal face the same fate.

We visited Petco tonight. Usually our visits are pleasant. We frequent there often for our bearded dragon, dog, cat, and guinea pig care items. Tonight we bought two containers of crickets, a 500ct of giant mealworms, two packets of Vitamins, a cricket pen and was told they have no bag. As we walked towards the exit with hands full of live insects and items, we noticed the people behind us got a bag. We went back to the counter and approached Maddy, whom told us they ran out last week, for a bag. The other associate had a bag for her customers also. When I asked for a bag I was asked if I am going to another store. Then she told me that she told Maddy to tell us (people of color) this. Petco is really showing loyal customers how they REALLY feel.

Smaller store but always very organized and team is always helpful. Have never used the grooming but it is available at this location and they have local rescues that hold adoption events regularly. Team is usually very helpful if needed.

I do not write many reviews, but I can not get over the terrible experience we had with the grooming service at this location. Waited more than 5 minutes at both drop off and pick up of my dog. Got out to the car and saw that my dog had cuts on BOTH ears as well as a small cut near the corner of his eye. I do acknowledge that my pup had some matted fur on his head and specifically told the groomer that I didn’t mind if he had to be shaved down. The fact that the groomer did not even acknowledge the injuries to my pup when I picked him up is astounding.

I went into Petco a few days ago and I saw a bearded dragon that was showing signs of what is called stargazing. There can be different causes for this. Sometimes it's neurological, sometimes it's got to do with the nutrition... And sometimes it's a sign of ADV (adadenovirus-I think that's spelled right). ADV is serious. Dragons have it for life once they get it. They need to be separated from other dragons... And it's not necessarily fatal but it does need to be addressed... I mentioned it to the employees but they didn't really seem to take it too seriously and seem to blow it off saying something about how they were basking or something. This didn't look like how they bask though especially in the dark under a hide... I took two pictures then and I went in again today and saw the exact same thing... I took two more pictures... And I have consulted with other people and they agree that this does seem to be stargazing... I'm attaching three pictures two or from today and then one was from the other day if you look under the hide in the dark you can barely see the dragon doing the same thing... Looking up a sky...
