Five stars all the way! Macey and Gina made our visit to the groomers an absolute delight. Macey’s attention to detail and genuine love for dogs is clear—our pup came out looking amazing, perfectly groomed and happy. She was so gentle and patient, which made the experience stress-free for our dog. Gina, at the front, was equally fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Thank you, Macey and Gina, for going above and beyond! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great grooming experience.

Terrible Service – Never Coming Back! I’ve given Petco in Citrus Heights way too many chances, but today was the last straw. I was just 15 minutes late for my pet’s grooming appointment, and instead of being accommodating, they forced me to rebook like I was hours late! The entire process is always way more complicated than it needs to be—every single time I bring my pet in, there’s an issue. Whether it’s ridiculous policies, disorganized staff, or long wait times, this place is an absolute nightmare to deal with. The customer service here is some of the worst in Sacramento. The employees act like they’re doing you a favor just by acknowledging your presence, and they have zero flexibility when it comes to scheduling. It’s almost like they don’t even want business. If you’re looking for a stress-free experience for your pet, go somewhere else. Petco Citrus Heights has lost me as a customer for good.

I am giving a big five star to this Petco because I bring my little girl Daisy in for her bath once a month and I have to say all the staff is so nice and welcoming every single time we come in. Daisy is like a celebrity here and that’s how they all treat her. Now I have to give a huge shoutout to our groomer Macey! She is the most sweet, loving, caring groomer I have ever meet! She treats my little girl like her own and that is so hard to find in these days. Thank you to all the wonderful and amazing associates here at this Petco! Of course Macey, you are so amazing and Daisy and I just love you!!

I came in here on Wednesday March 5th at roughly 3:45 and was looking to buy maybe a fish or something for my dogs and terribly had to use the restroom. I asked the cashier named Tristan if I could get the key to quickly use the bathroom and was appalled to receive such a rude response. I have never encountered such an awful employee especially at one of my favorite places! Never coming here again, was going to be a paying customer but she sure ruined that with her bad attitude . This girl needs a reality check put upon her and shouldn’t work at petco . People like that will be the downfall of your store . I never write reviews so this should go to show how offended I have became over this experience

Absolutely the worst dog grooming ever! They cut my dog’s hair but they left hair on her head and face. We had to pick her up early claiming that my dog was moving and they couldn’t finish her. If they can cut the bottom they can do her face. The staff was absolutely lazy and didn’t wanna finish my dog’s haircut. This is the worst service I’ve ever had with dog’s grooming. They should except dogs to move around a bit. I will not be returning to this location and I do not recommend to get your dog groomed here. Petco has officially lost me as a customer.
