Gorgeous experience and lovely staff, birds are very friendly and vocal. I was able to rehome my budgie ; Penny🦜 as they reassured me that he would be placed with people who love him. They gave me of notepad to write a list of things that my bird has interests in and made me feel like they genuinely care. I cannot thank you enough for the kind experience.

As a long-time customer of Parrotopia, I highly recommend the store for all your parrot needs. The owners and staff are very knowledgeable about all things birds, have a great selection of pet supplies from local area and name brand vendors, and are very personable. As a long time customer ourselves, we have purchased six birds from them; four babies and two re-homes, and use them for our pet food and supplies as well. What really sets them apart is their overall dedication to the adoption and long-term care of the birds. It's why they opened the business and it shows with their overall dedication to these critters. If you are a first-time bird buyer, they are more than happy to speak with you and educate you on anything birds to ensure that a bird is the right pet for you, find the best bird species that matches your personality type, and how to care for the bird over the years. When it comes to supplies, they are very competitive with online retailers but more importantly carry a great selection of toys, sprouts, supplies, etc from local vendors who are bird people. Once you own a bird, you learn how important this really is ensuring that the food and diet your bird eats is keeping them healthy, the toys you provide to the bird are safe, and the cage and environment you provide for the bird keeps them happy and sane. Online retailers and corporate pet stores care about profits, bird people care about birds and will always give you the best advice and products to support the birds. For us, we come in about once a month with all of our birds to let them visit the staff, check and see if they need their nails trimmed, wings trimmed, and just get a second opinion to see if everything looks okay with the little guys. We pick up some bird supplies, chat for a while, and we're on our way until next time. This is why we are long-term customers of theirs, as no online retailer or corporate pet store will run the full gamut of bird care as these folks will, and albeit in just one visit. Picked up a Blue & Gold Macaw today. So happy with him. Will definitely do business here again. Very knowledgeable, huge selection. Fantastic prices compared to anyone around. They have a few rare ones you won't find elsewhere and if you did they'd be 25%-50% higher in price. The majority of their birds are hand fed tame.

This store is excellent. All the stock you need, but what is truly special is if you want to learn about exotic birds this store gives you the opportunity to interact with the birds. I learned so much spending time here.

Staff is just awesome. We have adopted a few birds from there and have always found the birds to be healthy and well cared for. The owners are very friendly and treat everyone like you're a friend just hanging out. The staff is very knowledgeable.
