My shoutout goes to the Grooming Department Mgr/staff & especially Julio who has been our groomer for Nora. They are all very friendly, listen & are very professional. Nora absolutely loves Julio. We are moving & will miss them very much. Highly recommend them & your fur babies will love them too. Pets always know how cute they look too!! I recently had a very frustrating experience at Petco. I purchased a food product that, unfortunately, was expired. With the current high prices of everything, including gasoline, having to drive all the way back to the store for an exchange was a major inconvenience. While I acknowledge I should have double-checked the expiration date before purchasing, I also believe the staff has a responsibility to ensure expired products are removed from shelves during inventory management. I was told over the phone that sometimes the distribution center sends expired products to stores, which is a significant quality control issue that needs to be addressed at the warehouse level. The exchange process itself was also quite lengthy. Because I had made the initial purchase online and used coupons, the associate needed to call the store manager for assistance. I felt for the cashier, as it always seems like there's only one person working the register, suggesting the store is understaffed. My criticism here is directed at Petco as a company, not the individual store location. I believe Petco needs to prioritize paying its employees a livable wage and providing better benefits. This would improve employee retention, leading to better staffing levels and a more positive experience for both customers and the company itself. I do want to add a note about the Corona store location. The team there, despite the challenges, is doing their best, and I appreciate their help with the exchange. Thank you.

Support your local brick and mortar if you don’t want to lose it, while many use Chewy we all run out of food without notice or need something same day. Staff is wonderful doing their best, great selection of products. I would encourage all to adopt or rescue (Petfinder.com) and spay & neuter

The cashier a young brunette had an attitude and wasn't helpful whatsoever. I came across a harness that was on clearance (50% off). It had the sticker and I was really excited to buy it. She rings me up and I notice its full price. i tell her and she says its on clearance, thats what it is. I proceed to tell her that's not right because then there's no discount. She goes to say "so what" like if i want it or not.?? I would've bought it full price if it wasn't for her terrible attitude. I would've liked to talk to someone else but there was a line and I felt bad. definitely needs more training or something poor thing.

Now that my kitten is a 1 year old big boy now. We went in for Tiki Cat Dry Food High Protein. He also eats Luau and Aloha wet canned foods. Plus some great clearance priced Halloween cat & dog toys. They can never be spoiled enough. Went shopping for any clearance toys for my now 15 week old kitten and to pickup Blue Buffalo Dog food. I had a $5 BB coupon. The food was already on sale for about $5 off its regular price. With my $5 off added I got a great deal. Friendly staff. I feed my 5 week old kitten, Blue Buffalo Baby Blue kitten high protein grain-free can food. There are pet foods & treats you can only pick up at Petco. Shopping tip: before buying an item check the price on Petco website. You'll save money. Petco will price match there own website and other sites. Also check Target or Walmart prices There're a few things you can get at a much lower price. Worth the drive across the parking lot or up the street. Amazon is another price saver.
