Great place to adopt cats. The Cat Lady is very knowledgeable and nice. She is there every week to tend to the cats and even adds more cats for adoption. They go fast.

I brought my pup in to get a wellness exam and a rabies vaccine on 7/11/24. It was our first time at this Petco. We recently moved and this location was more convenient. When we first walked in the person that checked us in was pleasant. The pre-exam tech was pleasant. The vet seemed to be pleasant and then changed my mind. My pup has a scar on his left leg and a deformity on his left ear. He had both before we got him. We still wanted him. I explained that we got him that way and felt the need to show proof with the pre-adoption picture. I can understand the vet’s concern about the scar and a question about his ear being that it was their first time meeting him. What I cannot understand is the hesitation to believe what I told her was the case. If it was so important to her she could have checked the record, as this was not our first time at a Petco. They would have found that there were notes in his file regarding both previously. She did advise me that my pup was healthy and what to look out for after vaccinations. That was the only positive thing I could say about our interaction. I left feeling very uncomfortable and judged. I would never put my pup in harms way. If the vet was not judgmental, I’m not above reproach. But if you’re not being judgmental be mindful of your tone and body language in the future. I reviewed the notes when I got home and to my surprise it read, “Ears: Abnormal Observations: Left, Laceration/Injury Notes: Distal aspect of left pinna previously removed.” No one removed part of his ear or cut it! It’s a deformity. Not a laceration. Lastly, I will NOT be returning to this location based on this experience and how it made me feel.

This post is to recognize Marie and Blaine and how they went above and beyond for me and my dog. Even though my 15-year-old dog was given options they weren't guaranteed and his quality of life wouldn't have been what I wanted it to be or what it used to be . And I just didn't want him to be uncomfortable or in any pain at all. So I did one of the hardest things I've ever done and that was choosing to let him cross the rainbow bridge. I'm sorry for rambling on but please please know that Marie and the veterinarian I believe her name was Blaine we're so absolutely accommodating and they were so kind so very kind so thank you all so much for everything that y'all did for us.

I’m a new dog Mom and needed a lot of help shopping and your sales associate was fantastic! He really helped me understand what I needed for my puppy and why. Her knowledge and willingness to help was 5-stars!

It is the worst service I have ever received, they treat me very badly in this establishment, I really do not recommend it, I never write reviews but if you need to know I will give you the name of the people who do not know how to do their job and it was all because they did not want to sell me a bird that by the way they looked at me they thought I could not take care of it, questioning me about absurd things so as not to sell it, they took too long with everything to finally just sell it to me, it was crazy, it was a horrible experience that left me upset for a long time, I really do not recommend this place!!
