Absolute negligence which led to my beautiful puppy, Wynter, be gashed in the foot by scissors. She is a five pound shi-tzu and the kindest soul out there. Had to be rushed to the animal hospital with no formal apology from the manager or groomer. (Who shall not be named because of legality.) Merely, "paying the bill." As if it is not a multimillionaire dollar company. The cut (unfortunately) reached her back paw pad, bleeding, and making deep flesh visible. Putting this kindhearted girl at risk of sedation at her young age, and stitches. Will not EVER be coming back!

Bought an Arcadia UVB + fixture set l from this location last weekend and arrived back only a couple days later to exchange it for another as it did not work at all. They did not have another in stock but instead they only had the bulbs for sale. I asked the cashier if it were possible to test out one of the bulbs by plugging in the fixture so that I did not have to return the entire set and just replace the bulbs. Apparently that was too much to ask as afterwards the associate would ask their manager if I were allowed to test if the fixture they sold me was broken as if they did not believe me. After testing the bulb and finding out the fixture was broken, I requested to return the entire broken set that I was sold from this location which was followed up with the associate complaining about how things got very busy for her before closing, all while the manager is trying to help her out with issuing my refund. Sold me a product that didn’t work, make it harder than it should to test your broken product and then complain in the customer’s face about your job. Would never recommend shopping at this location after this experience.

I came in to buy some new fish today. I hesitated after reading reviews here. But, I called to try and understand why there were several odd reviews. The people working in the fish section ask questions regarding tank size, how long it has been established, what fish are already in the tank, and how the tank is doing. These questions are perfectly reasonable, and I've been asked the same at other fish stores. The employees here treat the fish with respect by making sure they will thrive in their new environment. My experience here was very pleasant from start to finish. And they have a nice selection of fresh and salt water fish.

I have seven cats at home and go through food for them on a pretty regular basis. This store is one of the only ones that carry the specific food I have to use (health restriction cats) and they almost always have it. For the first time, I had to order it online. My experience with online was horrible. A week went by, my order got lost somehow, I ran out of cat food, took all but three days to get through to someone without being hung up on, had to spend an hour on the phone with customer support and was informed I could go to the Westminster store which was now stocked for one of my bags personally tonight for a rushed order. I left as soon as I got off the phone and about half way there, found myself in a panic because the store was actively closing. We called the store and got in touch with the active closing manager through the grooming line and explained the full situation. He was super understanding and clearly heard and understood my panic. He went and picked my bag of cat food and filled my order then waited to bring it to the locked front door when I was able to arrive. Mind you, it was raining during my route and he made sure to reassure me he'd wait and didn't press for me to rush. Having patience for my safety and being willing to stay so my cats don't go hungry another night is something I don't see in management anymore. It shows heart and a genuine person. Props to the higher ups for hiring this individual and I just want to say thank you for keeping your store and team human.
