Excellent store, great supply for all pets... bought accessories for conure, great aquarium fishes, including saltwater.. Great help by store associates. Will be back again.

This petco automatically receives one star from me for keeping their aquatic turtles in disgusting conditions. This tank has clearly not been cleaned in AT LEAST one week, evident from the abundance of algae and fecal matter in the water. The comical sign in front of the tank touting that they "put their animals first" is the cherry on top. Stop abusing the animals.

Vibrant working culture! Everyone in there seems to have their own side pet care service that is not part of Petco. And they love to chitchat with each other about their own new logo design or T-shirt merch while the customer is standing next to them waiting for service. I mean, it’s specialty retail that I get… but as much as I enjoy hearing a 30 year old retail employee telling other employees about their personal life for 10 mins n spend another 30 mins just so that he could try to navigate his idea and try to bring up his sales pitch for his own pet service that was not part of the store…n then another 10 mins listening to him trying to educate me why I should use his service instead of buying the store supply… I’d rather go to petsmart n be out in 20 mins in total with a pet n every thing she would need. 2/10, 1 is for giving me another great JCP to watch; 1 for reminding me how bad a retail location could get if it is not properly managed and watched over by the corporate.

We have been going to this exact location for a while now to get our dog’s veterinary prescribed dog food and have always had such a good experience. Unfortunately, yesterday I had one of the worst and disrespectful interactions with a staff member here while checking out. Balliana (not sure if I’m spelling that right) was extremely cold and rude when I didn’t have a copy of our dog’s prescription even though we purchased this exact dog food every month and never have had this issue…Instead of looking up our order history or calling over a manager to help, she cut me off, basically told me I’m SOL…. I have never experienced such a cold, rude human working in customer service!! The ONLY time we have ever been asked for the actual prescription was the first time we purchased the dog food so we assumed they put a copy in their system since it last for a whole calendar year. (I’m actually not sure why you can’t keep it in your system, it should be) We understand if it’s policy to ask for it each time but that women shouldn’t be working in customer service especially at the check out where she is interacting with customers. Her rude attitude is what is doing to drive people away from this location!
