they took care of my boxer & he smells so good and his nails are all cut good. Price is good also!

Have gone into this store twice trying to purchase tetras for a planted 10 gallon tank with a beta fish. I want to add tank mates and after extensive research I have decided to add tank mates in my tank. Two different employees either judged, made faces or are in use when I have asked for three fish. At this point I won’t be coming back.

Worse experience ever! I schedule a grooming appointment online which requested my dog’s shot record prior to the appointment. When I arrived, I handed her my dog’s shot records and she couldn’t find the dates. So, she questions me and I pointed to the date which was in plan view. Instead of her saying, thank you she replied well the date is expiring soon. She leaves to grab the groomer, who walks up looking at me worth the meanest facial expression. The atmosphere was horrible and I just knew in my spirit this was a bad idea but I needed my dog groomed so here we go! The groomer says, I’m going to have to cut her down she’s really matted. I replied where as I rub through her coat. She states on her legs. I stated Ok, but I should have said this a joke…😡 then she asked was she spade and I said no. Then she said well she in heat I can’t groom her. I just walked off. Behind me was a Caucasian lady with her dog. I glance back just to see what type of service and questions she’ll receive. Totally different experience, they were smiling and being friendly. This store does not provide the same service to all. I’m no longer purchasing my dog, turtle, or fish items from them. You get one time to show your true self!!!!

This was my first time in a Petco and was just okay for me. I was totally surprised to see the sold saltwater fish and they had a good selection. I was there to shop for my lizard and was unable to find anything needed for him. I felt their tanks could have looked a little better as far as algae. I was there for at least 30 minutes and not once did anyone ask if I needed help finding anything. I found 2 workers in the back of the store talking and asked them for assistance and she clarified they were out of what I needed and wasn't sure when they'd get more in. I absolutely loved the self wash area for the pets and the snack bar for the pets had my 2 year old confused because it looked like real cookies but I thought it was an amazing idea. I did have to drive 18 miles to the nearest PetSmart to get what I need but I'll be back hopefully on a day they have what I need for my blue tongue skink.

I took my elderly small breed dog here for a grooming appointment 2 months ago. The hair that he did have was not matted at all because I had brushed him thouroughly for days beforehand. I told them to do feet, face, and fanny but keep the rest long, but they cut all of his hair off, claiming when I went to pick him up that he was "matted". This was not true. The groomer must have also done something to hurt his eye area, because he was a different dog before I dropped him off here, and since I picked him up he cannot see at all and one of his eyes is completely cloudy. The groomer caused him to go blind, because he did not have the behavior of running into things and being unable to see before. Don't ever take your dog here to be groomed, especially if they are elderly. I wish I had never taken mine here, but now all I can do is try to help him to get around as best as I can because he is blind now.
