Pet Supermarket

This is the best pet store in the area; it is always clean, staff is friendly, and everything is affordable! Vi, one of the staff, is very knowledgeable on all of the animals and did a great job helping me with adopting a cat AND building out an aquarium, filling it with beautiful fish and plants that she recommended. I am here several times a week and they know how to take care of their customers.

Amazing employee named Eric helped me load up a 28 lb. bag of dog food into my cart , gave suggestions about what was in the dog food and asked about the age of my dogs to ensure a proper selection ! When I was ready to check out Eric came behind the counter , opened a register then offered to load up my car as well. What a kind and empathetic employee they have in Eric ! I’d rather buy from this store than purchase food on Chewy as they will price match them and you’ll have your product right away. Well done to Eric !

I purchased a bunny from here yesterday, 10/21/2024, and was already aware of her having a URI, but being in the vet field and having so much experience, both professionally and personally, with rabbits, I asked them if I could just treat it myself because I had a gut feeling they would just euthanize her. She’s a beautiful and super sweet lop eared bunny, about 10 weeks old. Well, I got her on antibiotics from my vet yesterday, which is great, BUT I was feeding her tonight and giving her some love when I noticed a large scab on her chin. I picked her up and was able to get some of the scab off and pus came rushing out. I then quickly sat down with her and with help from my husband, I was able to fully investigate the wound and it’s a very bad puncture wound, likely from a bite from another animal. Being in the vet field, I know that bite wounds take 4-7 days to become an abscess and this would mean this wound happened while in the care of this pet store. I’m not going to return her knowing that they’ll more than likely either euthanize her or just ignore the problem and sell her to someone else. I’m going to treat it, but it is going to cost me a ton of money, as abscesses such as this one on a rabbit require surgical debridement and repair, which on a rabbit is easily over $800-$1000. I will NEVER step foot in a pet supermarket again. I’m so upset about the incompetence and lack of care these people have. This poor sweet bunny is now going to go through a ton of pain, treatment, and traumatic recovery. If I could give a -5 stars, I would.

Emily was incredible! She knew the products so well, she was patient while I debated and offered her advice about best choices for my dogs. She listened to my long winded explanations about my dogs needs and waited patiently while I made my choices. I worked out in my calculator how much each supplement cost and she was super supportive and patient. She also pointed out the best value and steered me to quality brands at the best prices. My go to petstore! Bri is always extremely sweet and knowledgeable and has given me so much advice and my tank is thriving! and Eric is always so friendly and helpful, never had a bad experience with staff. i always enjoy my Petsupermarket trips! (:
