Pet Supermarket

I visited store for the first time on 4/1/2025. I was looking for dog enrichment puzzles. There were two young women at cash register area. One was sitting on the floor with the contents of her entire lunch box displayed in front of her. The other was standing there talking with her. Both ignored me although I was the only one in the store. I almost left, but after searching same isle several times, I spied what I needed. I took it up to register where they still ignored me. However, a male UPS driver came in and they both greeted him and engaged in friendly chatter telling him they had no boxes for him with plenty of giggles. The one clerk took my purchase finally, and rang it up, still without a word or even looking at me. She did say thank you as she handed me my bag. I never leave reviews. But I continued to dwell upon my experience for days, which is very unlike me, hence the review. Will not go back.

I called the store and spoke to a lady on the phone regarding a specific fish I was looking for. I told her I wanted to confirm the fish was available before making the 40 minute drive and she confirmed it was. Fast forward 45 minutes and I arrive at the store. I make my way to the fish section and immediately recognize that the majority of fish are covered in Ich, a highly contagious and (can be) deadly disease for fish. I showed one of the staff members who had no idea they were sick and let me know they are still selling them to the public. I wish they would have told me before I drove 45 minutes. I really wanted to like their fish setup, but unfortunately the hygiene in this area is super low and I’ll have to avoid them in the future. Pictures show the white spots all over the fish, which is one of the visual ways to identify the disease. By the way, this copy and paste response this company does for reviews shows how much they care about the customer and our feedback.

Here fishy fishy fishy!! It seems this store is under new management. I’ve avoided this store for quite a few months and randomly went back recently to check out the aquatic section. I was shocked to see tanks were being cleaned and with minimal fish. I spoke to a nice manager who explained that they were looking into getting more desired fish. He wrote down my list and promised to call me in a week. He sure did! My tank is finally finished and the selection of fish they have is so much better than before.

GREAT PLACE FOR FRESHWATER FISH!! Great staff and a wonderful overall experience

They have a nice variety of small animals and birds, but they don't always seem to be in the best of care.
