Just Fish

I love coming to this store!! It’s always so awesome each time I go in. The choices in fish are great, they are not your everyday “pet-mart” fish. ALOT of different choices for salt and fresh water. Tons of live plants. The prices are nearly the same as your “pet-mart” but just better quality and overall heath. Real fish keepers could appreciate this fish store.

Stick to fish, after my first review that included dead dried up kuhli loaches. I decided to check it out again. This time they have reptiles… and shamelessly the first one in sight is a completely neglected leopard gecko days from death. This place needs to completely reevaluate their business and consider actually caring for their animals. Please surrender your reptiles to a local rescue before it’s too late.

I've been coming here for so many years and I'm going to get very personal here for so those with negative commentary. This family is the most dedicated I've ever seen to their animals and well being. People judge what they don't know. They have so many people just drop off animals and fish and fish tanks right in front of store and leave , instead of those people being judged here we are with judgment against the owners. Animals were brought into areas to keep separate from healthy animals to receive vet care and well checks along with rehabilitation after lengthy neglect from whoever drops them off. I've seen those ferrets and they were left in front of store no food or water in that cage that was mentioned so why are we not mentioning how horrific the owners that dropped them off should be arrested. I know first hand by watching they owners of store work 15 hour days 7 days a week to care for everything in their store. Before making statements why not ask questions , instead making harsh comments on things don't know. Many tanks that appear dirty for sale are ones again people leave and most likely that person saw them during time they were just dropped. I've seen the owner work through receiving cancer treatment !!!! And still show up taking care of all I mentioned with uncaring individuals dropping things off completely inconsiderate. The prices are high because of the high quality places they get they're fish from had anyone thought of that, you pay for quality aquatics made in USA not Amazon temu or whatever lol . Or that times are hard and people are stealing so much causing increased they protection cost . I actually watched an old man use his grandchild as diversion in order to steal high dollar items , which thank God they saw on camera and had police there within minutes. How closed minded and opinionated are these people making negative commentary. How about the rabbits , they are only together on display and closed because again thefts, and preventing humans from touching and passing disease to them. They actually sleep very comfortably in very large habitats in back engulfed in healthy hay with vitamins and snacks all night! I only know these things because I asked questions !!!! Instead of making up things and than instilling far into others unwarranted . Sorry for rant reading comments upset me . This family and business take time to educate and assist each customer devoting time . Many people don't follow directions or suggestions than cast blame on others, just sad. I highly recommend this place and instead of being ignorant why not help and stop the jerks from buying pets they can't care for than dropping them off in hundred degree weather ( snakes, guinea pigs, fish, ferrets etc .)

Do better guys, I know you have been around a while but I just can’t buy from here anymore. Tanks are yellow and dirty, I would not take advise from anyone selling fish in these conditions, not expose my healthy fish to these fish as well.

I have been coming here since I was a child. Now that my own child wanted to start his own tank and we didn’t have luck getting fish from other places we made the 2hr drive to Just Fish and they helped him figure out what may have been happening and helped him know how to treat the water to make it better for the fish. They took the time to educate him and help him get the best fish for his tank. We were also delighted to find out they have bunnies since my daughter has been wanting another one. All of the animals were well taken care of and some were even being rehabbed since they had been dropped off by previous owners to them. I can’t recommend them enough!
