High Desert Pet Shop

I love this place is where I got my bird let me tell what happened I have been to this place 1 or 2 times and I got a white bird always and it always died because of my dogs but I said Letts on more and it lived for so much until my dog came in my room when I was not there and the dog got a broke the cage and the food and water but I didn’t know because I was working with my mom and so then my sister called that the dog ate the bird so I got and cried so hard and starting to hit my self and then a few hours went by at this point I was said but I hade to go to work with my mom but when I got home I started to hit my dog and I saw the trash everywhere so went I to go work with my my brother and said did you clean room and I said yes and send me to face time and the bird was hiding in the big plants we have in the house and then went to my room and was sleeping and I starting crying for how happy I am because I thought it was died because I cute his wigs but he is a strong brid here is a picture of him😭😭😭

I’ve been here a couple of times to buy some Parakeets on two different occasions. I’m not sure why some of these reviews say the employees are rude. All three of them greeted us and were helpful. The young girl was very helpful in helping pick out our birds. Both times we were there in the morning and they were cleaning out cages and feeding the animals. Floors were being mopped. Only reason why I gave 4 stars, it’s a bit crowded. Not much room to move around the Isles. Other than that, we liked it and we will continue to shop there. Also, I wouldn’t want everyone coming in to hold/touch and photograph the birds if I were the owner. People will just come by to do it regularly and bring their kids like a petting zoo. I don’t blame the owners for setting a price for it.

Went here to pick up some aquarium rocks, plants, and activated carbon. Asked for pricing on stuff( nothing was marked) lady didn't know. She asked another guy, and he took several minutes to look up the price on his phone. Prices were 35% higher than petco! Then I asked where the aquarium plants were. He points to the back. Asked him if he could show me. Nope just points again to the back...the place is a mess. And the music was so loud I had to yell to ask them questions. Never shopping here again. Shop at petco or online. I would shop here if they understood customer service, went above and beyond to be helpful and kind. Then it would be worth supporting. But it's not...

Horrible place the girl who works there with blonde hair is extremely rude. She shouted at me and my daughter that we needed to make a $15 donation If we were going to be taking pictures of the chickens mind you I wasn’t taking any pictures extremely rude overpriced. I would not go here very disappointed as I grew up in the high desert and remember coming to this place! Disappointed

Amazing store they have a slew of animals. And some really cool parrots but they're out of my price range as I cannot see myself paying $2,000 for a bird. 🦜
