I can't recommend Shawn enough! His facilities are spotless, he gave my wife and I the time to see his birds and hold them, and he's been graciously in touch with me for the past 3 weeks about any questions that I have had. His birds are friendly and clearly well cared for. Shawn has been professional, and he prioritizes customer care and the well being of his birds! I wish that I could give him 6 stars!!

I reached out to BirdsByUs for help finding the best parrot to fit our family. Shawn answered my calls promptly and he was incredibly helpful. He took the time to really talk to me about what we were looking for and answer all of my questions! We went to visit and found everything to be extremely clean and the birds well taken care of. He spent a lot of time with us while we got to know our potential parrot and answered all of my 10yr old son's questions too! We brought our white capped pionus home a week ago and he's settling in well. Shawn continues to be amazing to work with even after the sale! He's been checking in with us and was super helpful and reassuring when we had a bad experience with one of our local vets (at no fault of Shawn's!). You can tell he really takes pride in his work and I'd highly recommend BirdsByUs!

We brought home our sweet baby blue and gold macaw from BirdsByUs and it was an all around great experience. My husband and I had been looking to adopt a blue and gold macaw but were very nervous about purchasing again from the local exotics store we got our sun conure after a not so great experience. Purchasing from Shawn was completely different. Shawn was super responsive and made sure we were totally comfortable with handfeeding before we brought our baby home and has frequently checked in to see how things are going. I would not hesitate one bit to purchase another bird from Shawn or recommend him to a friend or loved one looking for a parrot companion.

My experience with BirdsByUs was great, Shawn is very knowledgeable and cares about all of the birds. He is very responsive, any questions I’ve had he’s responded right away. For anyone looking to get a bird I 100% recommend. It’s been 3 weeks since I’ve had my conures. When I went in to get a conure my intentions were to walk out with one bird… I ended up walking out with 2 baby conures. So far they have been Healthy and I’ve had no issues with them. When I got them they were still formula fed so shawn took his time to show me how to properly feed them. Experience for me was a 10/10 and will definitely get more birds from BirdsByUs in the future.

I recently purchased a rose-breasted cockatoo, and it’s been the best experience I’ve ever had getting a bird! Shawn truly cares for his birds, and it shows in the exceptional quality and care he provides. His facility is always clean, organized, and you can tell the birds are well taken care of. My cockatoo is the sweetest, healthiest bird I could have hoped for, and she adjusted so quickly to her new home. Shawn was knowledgeable and patient throughout the process, answering all of my questions and giving me great advice on care and even training her. It’s clear that he prioritizes the well-being of his birds above all else. I couldn’t be happier with my experience, and I definitely plan on purchasing more birds from him in the future!”
