I purchased my Yellow-Naped Amazon from this store, but honestly, I regret my decision. For the price I paid—over $4,000—I expected a bird that was at least somewhat socialized. Instead, it has taken me a full year just to get him comfortable around humans, and even now, he only trusts me. From the moment I brought him home, he refused to be handled without attempting to bite or pull away. I’m still working on building his confidence, but as a first-time bird owner, this has been a challenging journey for both of us. That said, he does have a great personality he talks, mimics my laugh, and even cries like my son, which is pretty amusing. While the store itself was clean and had a decent selection, they should implement a proper process for preparing birds for their new homes, especially given their high prices. Some reputable stores require buyers to visit and interact with their bird multiple times before taking it home, ensuring a smoother transition. Unfortunately, my bird was clearly not accustomed to handling, which has made training much more difficult. Although I love my bird, I would not purchase from this store again.

I bought a pair of Love birds here, awesome place. The two gentleman working there Jonathan and Tommy are the best. super knowledgeable and kind. They make you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. I shop here for their brand of food (only food my birds will eat) which is healthy mix of food. Toys are super nice and affordable. Super clean, friendly birds, and great environment.

Went to visit some birds! Get a general feel of them being I may adopt or rescue one soon. It was great to see them they also have a HUGE Hyacinth macaw Priced at 23k! He was so gorgeous and loved belly scritches he also loved to hold hands! I hope they all find amazing forever homes! The guy working was super nice and checked up on us a few times while viewing the birds. I didn’t ask to hold any because I didn’t want to impose yet I’m not sure if you can!

My cockatiel was there for boarding. He says he had no issues and gives it 5 stars! 😅

This place is amazing. The owners are helpful and very personable. Everyone who works there is friendly and nice. A great selection of birds, bird toys, food and other bird related things. Bird cages are well maintained and cleaned on the regular. Would highly recommend. If you're closer to Saddle Brook like myself, check out their new store there. It's nice as well! We bought our Golden Conure at the Green Brook location but both stores have a nice selection.
