Kind of a little upset with this place. They were super nice and friendly BUT Went in yesterday and spent almost 700 dollars are a fish set up. Asked for their specific guidance on how to set this up to where the fish would NOT DIE . Gave me live bacteria and water conditioner, asked if I wanted fish that day and my response was “ if it will be okay, yes but if not no”. I was told that they would be okay bc the live bacteria would take care of a lot of the issue that would come with adding them the same day. Was then told that the fish only had to acclimate for 30 minutes before adding them to the water yesterday. Just got off the phone with them, to only be told that I was basically a liar and told that I should have “ waited 24 hrs before I added them to the tank” I'm beyond upset bc I asked for their specific guidance on how to NOT kill my fish and to set up a successful tank. I have praised this place to everyone in the past but not anymore. Lesson learned. Always let your tank cycle and do your own research before trusting any place like this. Would only replace fish if I brought them in with tank water, receipt and dead fish. I disposes of the dead fish and water once they died bc this all happened in the middle of the night and. I was trying to save the remaining fish.

We needed crickets for our leopard gecko. Walked and immediately got help. Way different atmosphere in comparison to other “big named” pet stores. We love the animals as well as the family owned mom and pop vibe. Highly recommend and will return!

I bought this baby bearded dragon and told the mother and son that work or own it that it was a gift for my son in-law and it had to be able to make it to Florida. I asked the Son what can I do and as he walks away from me he says oh he will let you know what he needs well he died in north carolina. I already know nobody gets money back because that's all you care about. I'm glad I'm out just 100 and not 150 that you tried to get me to spend on something more unique 😂. If you don't care about these critters then don't deal with them.

My partner recently purchased me a saltwater tank here. When he purchased it, he didn’t know the green moss covering the rock was a nuisance algae. I emailed Jim (the owner) and explained what was going on. He more than made it right by giving me a new rock with extremely beautiful corals and a cleanup crew to boot. A+++ highly recommend! Jim is very kind, patient and understanding.
