Veterinary Wellness Center of Surfside

Dr. Newman is incredible. I’ve been bringing my dog to her for years and have referred her to multiple friends who have also absolutely loved her. I should have written this review a long time ago. My dog is everything to me and she’s always taken such good care of him and made him (and me) feel so comfortable. I know my dog is in the best hands with her. She listens, takes her time examining and understanding, and does everything she can for her patients - she really cares. It can be hard to find a quality vet and she is that and beyond.

Unreasonably expensive. Feline bloodwork that would’ve cost $25 back in Chicago cost me $260. I had to put down my cat here and felt completely taken advantage of. I had to put down a former pet of mine in Chicago and it cost $250; here it was almost $900. Otherwise they provide good care. Are realistic on what they can and can’t do for your pets. Doctor was compassionate about my situation. Unfortunately their business practices are your typical Miami grift job.

I can’t say enough positive things about this office! First of all I always say that I wish I had a doctor for myself and family that is as good as Dr. Carmona. He is so kind, caring and knowledgeable!! The front desk staff is so nice and accommodating. There is no better vet than this place!

I love the office. The whole staff is very nice. They always follow up with you and make sure your pet is healthy and happy. The also have weekend hours. But by far the best is Dr. Carmona. He is amazing with pets as well as people! I would not take my pets anywhere else. I highly recommend him and his staff.

This is a solid pet care squad a few blocks away from our home. The doctors are amazing humans. Our pack loves walking to and from our visits. We highly recommend this clinic! 👍👍
