I’ve been taking my cats to South Miami Animal Clinic for almost a year, ever since I adopted them, and I couldn’t be happier with the care they’ve received. Dr. Oliveira is absolutely wonderful—she’s kind, down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and highly competent. What I really appreciate is her sensible approach: she won’t push unnecessary tests or procedures, only recommending what’s truly needed for the health and well-being of your pet. The staff is equally great—always accommodating when I’ve needed to bring a pet in on short notice. As someone who tends to worry, I find their reassurance and understanding incredibly comforting. Sylvia at the front desk deserves a special shoutout. She runs the office like a pro and treats every client with kindness and respect, no matter how busy things get. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone seeking skilled, caring veterinary care for their pets!

My pets have been going to South Miami Animal Clinic for a couple of years now. Dr. Oliveira is kind, down to earth, knowledgeable and sensible. She will not order tests or recommend procedures that she doesn't deem necessary or beneficial. The staff is also nice and have always accommodated me when an urgent need to bring a pet in for evaluation has arisen. Especially now that most vet clinics are being bought by big corporations and their bottom line is to make profits, this clinic and veterinarian are appreciated more than ever.

I have been coming here for years. Absolutely exceptional staff. They cared for my late dog and helped him cross the rainbow bridge. They are the current vet for my current dog and we could not be happier, the service is always amazing.

I was at my wits end and needed a second opinion. My boss recommended me and I couldn’t be more thankful. While we did, unfortunately, have to put my dog to sleep, Dr. Oliveira and her team were finally able to give us a diagnosis that our other vet could not.
