First, Scott & Nate were very knowledgeable and proficient each time they came out for services. I have absolutely no complaints there, and couldn't ask for better. However the administrative side of things is a completely different story. To start, I used have 2 horses, one I own, and another I lease, and I used their services for both. Eventually the lease horse went back to her owner, but for some reason they didn't want to split the account, and instead having me pay them, and then the owner pay me each time. This just made things difficult and confusing for me. Secondly, I used to receive paper statements from them, but then at some point in time that stopped (not by my request), and I only received email statements. However those had a tendency to get sucked into my spam filter. This combined with the chaotic billing of the other horse that went to the owner sometimes resulted in me not being aware of the bill. This lead to the next annoying issue where they'd go for 2 months without any sort of follow up (another email, phone, text, nothing), and then all of a sudden they get really aggressive with the contact (check will literally be in the mail the next day and they still contact repeatedly), and will refuse further services until they receive payment (which in principal might be fair, but not for something which is mostly their fault). Lastly it was a common occurrence that I couldn't get a hold of them at all. One time I had an emergency issue, and neither Scott, nor Nate, nor the office nor the emergency number (which is supposed to be 24/7) would answer, for 2+ hours. Thankfully it wasn't a life/death emergency, but I still ended up having to call out another vet. Another time I had wound that wouldn't heal. This was technically the ex-lease horse again, but both the owner and I tried contacting them FOR SEVERAL WEEKS. And no it wasn't an issue due to an over-due account. They just straight up did not bother responding at all. There were a few other similar issues of getting service. So basically, yes, they're well qualified. But are extremely unreliable.
