  • Chiropractic Care: Dr. Priest is a pioneer in this field in Tennessee, being the first veterinarian in the state to be certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. She applies chiropractic methods to provide gentle and effective adjustments, aiming to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance the nervous system's function.

  • Western Herbs: She utilizes Western herbal medicine to support various bodily systems and address health concerns naturally.
  • Bach Flowers: These are natural flower essences used to address emotional and behavioral imbalances in pets.
  • Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition: Dr. Priest provides guidance on pet nutrition, often emphasizing whole foods and natural diets to support overall health and address specific conditions. She offers clinical nutrition advice, which can be crucial for pets with chronic ailments.
  • B.E.S.T. (Bio-Energetic Synchronization Technique): While specific details on this modality are limited, it falls under energy medicine approaches aimed at balancing the body's systems.
  • Conventional Medicine (Blended Approach): While specializing in holistic methods, Dr. Priest's training as a DVM means she understands and may integrate conventional diagnostics and treatments when appropriate, offering a truly blended approach to care. She has been noted for her balanced views, for instance, on topics like spay/neuter timing, where she considers individual animal health rather than rigid protocols.
  • Preventative Care Counseling: Her holistic philosophy extends to preventative care, advising on ways to maintain long-term health through natural means.

Dr. Priest has been providing holistic medical care for small animals for over 20 years, bringing a wealth of experience to these specialized modalities. She aims to improve animals' health through methods she believes to be beneficial, emphasizing individualized treatment plans.

I made an appointment to have a chiropractic adjustment for my dog who was suffering from a pinched nerve. I have had chiropractic care for my pet before, and what this woman did was not chiropractic care. Her treatment consisted of only touching on some pressure points in a few places along her spine. While this might offer partial temporary relief, it does not correct the problem like a chiropractic adjustment does. She did not even check range of motion in the neck and legs. If you are looking for real chiropractic care for your pet, do not see this woman.
