Premium Vet Care - Mobile Veterinary Urgent Care

Dr. Hefter is the best. We have adopted 3 community/ feral cats that we are slowly converting to indoor cats. There is no way that we would have been able to get them into a cat carrier to take them to a vet. We can’t even get close enough to pet one of them, but Dr. Hefter somehow managed to give her a rabies vaccine shot before she even knew what was happening. He is so responsive and has been able to come out and see us quickly when we have had to deal with injuries and other health concerns. One time our male cat was limping badly and we were worried he may have a broken leg. Dr. Hefter came out that night and was able to give him a full examination, including X-rays in the mobile unit which is a fully equipped office on wheels. Premium Vet Care has been so responsive and helpful. I highly recommend.

Dr. Heftner is awesome. Our outside cat (feral to others but our baby) got attacked by something that left him with an open yucky wound. Doc came out within an hour of contacting him. He was not inexpensive but worth every penny and was very clear about his prices. He gave our baby the exact care he needed. His mobile vet setup is impressive. Happy to say our boy is feeling so much better. Thanks for being you doc, we appreciate you 🙏

Last week one of my kitty’s started urinating blood. My regular mobile vet had no availability until the next week and I didn’t want her to be in pain. I searched all over for emergency mobile vets and could not find one near me. I took a chance at calling Premium Vet Care late Thursday and in less than 24 hours Dr. Hefter came with his Vet Asst. I was so impressed with them and wanted to share my experience. From the moment we met, I felt at ease; I was a wreck all day worrying about my Lucky. When they got to my home they explained what they were going to be doing. They were so gentle with her; she’s blind! They even set up in my closet where she was hiding and did her blood work and urine test there. They then took her to their van to do her X-rays. The antibiotics worked within hours and Dr. Hefter answered all my questions and offered to answer any additional questions via text. I can only imagine how busy his practice is, and to be this responsive is unheard of and so much appreciated. I highly recommend Premium Vet Care!!!!

My 15 yr old dog, Rio, decided that he was never going to a Vet again after a recent bout of Pancreatitis. I was worried about how it would go with a Mobile Vet, but when Dr. Heftner came into my house with his gentle demeanor, Rio was putty in his hands. Premium Vet Care was terrific from the very first call, taking their time to ask all the right questions before the appointment. (Which was the very next day). Dr. H was so kind and patient with my pup, and took a lot of time with him, and me, explaining everything thoroughly and reassuring me that a herniated disc is not the end. I would highly recommend premium vet care. I have had awful experiences in the past with taking my dog to the vet to get exams or vaccines. Dr.Hefter and his staff restored my faith! He was so kind, real and patient. He answered all of my questions and concerns and was so amazing with my large dog who is normally very skidish. I am so pleased with this service and the staff!
