I would recommend Dr. Claytor and her team to care for any pets of my closest friends and family. Dr. Claytor cared for our dog Scout throughout the entirety of his life. She helped our family with routine annual checkups, recover from injuries, refer us to surgical specialists when needed, effectively manage and prolong our days with Scout and lastly provided compassionate end of life care as if he were their own. We will always be grateful to Dr. Claytor and her team of technicians and administrative staff.

Brought my cat here for urinary issues and refusing food/losing weight. They did a urinalysis and told me everything was fine. The vet I spoke to was (in my opinion) unnecessarily harsh about my cat's low weight, so a few weeks later I took my cat to another Homewood vet who took the extra time to call Oxmoor for her previous urinalysis results. Turns out, she had blood in her urine that Oxmoor chose to ignore. After further tests, my cat is in late-stage kidney failure. Please advocate for your pets if you choose to bring them here. Don't be afraid to ask to see their results yourself, and I recommend getting a second opinion.

They are very nice and thorough. My only concern is that the facility is not handicapped friendly. My husband took our dog in to see the vet, and then we FaceTimed to discuss the situation!

We're new to Oxmoor Animal Clinic. I'm glad we found a nice vet's office close to home. My baby boarded for a week. Everyone was super nice. Jersey seemed to have enjoyed her stay.

We have used Oxmoor Animal Clinic and Dr Claytor for over 25 years through two cats, one bunny and four dogs. She has diagnosed, accurately, a major allergy in one dog (chicken) and cleaned the teeth of another who had really bad breath plus given care to all of our pets along the way. She loves animals! Dr. Claytor and her team are good at what they do and so caring that I would trust them with any animal we have. The staff is great. Bebe and Moose are lucky to have the people at Oxmoor Animal Clinic!
