Had to take my dog in to see the vet after she ran full speed through her dog door and hit her spine on the top of it. Everyone there is always nice and very helpful. The vet was amazing and explained this to me clearly about options to see about her diagnosis. She is doing much better now!

Welcome to Lopez Cynthia DVM
Welcome to an introduction of Lopez Cynthia DVM, a pet hospital located at 3650 N Buffalo Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89129, USA. As a local establishment categorized under Pet Hospitals, Lopez Cynthia DVM aims to provide veterinary services and potentially offer related goods for the health and well-being of pets in the Las Vegas community. They can be contacted at (702) 395-1800 or via their mobile number +1 702-395-1800.
Based on the available customer reviews, the experiences at Lopez Cynthia DVM appear to be somewhat inconsistent, with both positive and negative feedback. One review recounts a positive experience where the staff was described as "always nice and very helpful," and the veterinarian was "amazing" in explaining a dog's spinal injury and subsequent treatment options. The reviewer expressed satisfaction with the care provided and noted their dog's improvement. This suggests that under certain circumstances, clients and their pets receive competent and caring attention at this clinic.
However, two other reviews detail negative experiences that raise concerns about communication, adherence to promises, and patient care policies. One disappointed customer described a situation where, despite specifically confirming during the appointment booking that the pet owner would be allowed to stay with their anxious dog during the examination, this request was denied upon arrival, citing COVID-19 concerns as the reason. The customer felt that this policy prioritized the doctor's comfort over the animal's well-being, especially since masks were worn. This incident highlights potential issues with communication between staff members and a lack of flexibility in accommodating a pet's emotional needs during a stressful vet visit.
Another negative review described issues with the appointment process for new clients. Despite having an early morning appointment and being advised to arrive early, the doors were locked upon arrival, and they experienced a delay in being checked in, with regular clients being helped first. This suggests potential organizational challenges or a lack of prioritization for new patients, which could lead to a negative first impression.
Considering the mixed feedback, it is difficult to form a definitive picture of the environment at Lopez Cynthia DVM. The positive review suggests a helpful and reassuring atmosphere, at least during the consultation and treatment phase. However, the negative reviews point to potential issues with the initial welcome and the examination room policies. The discrepancy between the receptionist's assurance and the actual policy regarding owner presence during examinations could create anxiety and distrust for pet owners, especially those with nervous animals. The delay experienced by the new client also suggests potential inefficiencies in the reception or check-in process. Therefore, the environment might be perceived differently depending on individual circumstances and interactions with the clinic.
Regarding the services offered at Lopez Cynthia DVM, the positive review indicates that the clinic provides diagnostic services (to assess the spinal injury) and offers treatment options, leading to the pet's recovery. This suggests competence in addressing certain medical issues. The request for an ear cleaning in one of the negative reviews implies that this is a service the clinic likely offers. However, the negative experience related to the owner not being allowed to be present during the examination, despite prior confirmation, does not shed light on the quality of the examination itself. It primarily raises concerns about the clinic's policies and communication. As a "Pet Hospital," it is reasonable to assume that Lopez Cynthia DVM offers a range of general veterinary services, including wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and treatment for common illnesses and injuries. However, the limited and conflicting review information makes it challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of their service capabilities or any specialized treatments they might offer. Local users may need to contact the clinic directly for a detailed list of their services.
Several potential features of Lopez Cynthia DVM can be inferred from the reviews, though these are viewed through both positive and negative lenses. One potential feature is the helpfulness and niceness of some staff members and the perceived expertise of the veterinarian in certain medical cases. However, a significant concern raised is the inconsistency in communication and the apparent inflexibility regarding owner presence during examinations, especially for anxious pets. This could be seen as a negative feature for owners who prioritize minimizing their pet's stress during vet visits. The potential for organizational issues, as suggested by the delayed check-in for a new client, might also be considered a drawback. Therefore, while the clinic may have competent medical professionals, potential inconsistencies in policies and communication could impact the overall client experience.
Currently, the provided information does not include any specific promotional details for Lopez Cynthia DVM. Veterinary hospitals sometimes offer introductory discounts for new clients or seasonal promotions on specific services. Local users interested in any potential promotions or new client specials are advised to contact the clinic directly or check their website or social media channels, if available.
As a "Pet Hospital," it is also probable that Lopez Cynthia DVM offers a selection of pet-related goods for sale. This may include prescription medications, veterinary-specific diets, and preventative products against parasites. The availability of such goods can provide convenience for pet owners. However, the specific types of goods offered by Lopez Cynthia DVM are not detailed in the provided information.
In conclusion, Lopez Cynthia DVM in Las Vegas, Nevada, presents a mixed profile based on the available customer reviews. While some clients have experienced helpful staff and competent veterinary care, there are notable concerns regarding communication, adherence to promises about owner presence during examinations, and potential organizational issues. Local users should consider these differing perspectives when evaluating this pet hospital. It may be beneficial to contact the clinic directly to clarify their policies, especially concerning owner presence during examinations, and to inquire about their specific services and approach to patient care to determine if it aligns with their needs and their pet's temperament.

Feb 27, 2019 路 Shelby MarkovicDisappointed... We have a sweet female dog that we called to make an appointment for a check up and an ear cleaning. My husband specifically asked to be sure that my husband would be allowed to be with our dog during the entire visit because she would be very scared and she would resist restraining her the way they would need to. The receptionist said that is no problem at all. We had an 8am appointment and we were told to arrive early because we were new. We arrived early, the doors were locked, we waited. We eventually got checked in after some regular guests were helped. We were taken into an exam room with an assistant, we were told that she was going to take our dog into another room to be examined. My husband mentioned that we asked on the phone before we made the appointment that he will need to be in the room with our dog to keep her calm. The assistant said we don't allow you to do that, the girl that said it was ok on the phone was wrong. She said she will go ask the doctor if he would be ok with that. She returned fifteen minutes later, stating the doctor said he is not comfortable with being in the room together because of Covid-19. That was the excuse. We did have masks on the entire time. We left very disappointed. We felt they did not care about the animal, because our dog would have had to be restrained much harsher than if my husband would have held her himself to help keep her calm. We love our girl and just want her to have as easy and comfortable as possible experience in a strange Scarry place. 馃ズ
