Lap of Love - Orlando

Despite the dreadful anticipation of what was coming, I can not begin to describe the feeling of home my family and I felt when Dr. Mimi walked in our door. She radiated pure warmth. She led us through the process with a guidance we trusted, and a patience for the raw tenderness of the moment. It didn’t feel like a business, she made it feel like family. We miss our boy Rocco so deeply but feel so grateful for the lap of love team, their warm voices during that hard phone call, and especially Dr. Mimi for her heartfelt support before, during, & after. Thank you so much.

I am so grateful for Lap of Love and Dr. Amanda B. My heart is at peace knowing that my beautiful Sparkle (cat, 15 years) passed peacefully at home with all of her family with her. It broke my heart the thought of taking my precious girl to the vet and her being terrified in her final moments. From the moment I called Lap of Love, I knew I made the right decision. The staff was caring, professional, helpful and patient. I never felt rushed or like my baby was just a number. They respected all of the final requests I had for Sparkle and never were pushy. Dr. Amanda B. was beyond amazing. The care she gives during such a difficult time shows her passion for our furry family members. She treated my baby Sparkle like her baby. Thank you Lap of Love and Dr. Amanda B. for your gentle service to grieving families.

Saying goodbye to a very dear friend, and knowing when they’re ready, is the hardest decision we all have to take on as fur parents. It was with a very heavy heart that we made the call to Lap of Love last night, when we knew it was time for our sweet boy Monte to peacefully cross over. From the hardest phone call we’ve ever had to make, Jennifer (and Corey) were a soothing, comforting, compassionate voice that we are so appreciative of, as she helped us prep and guide and schedule us for what was to come in the morning. We got to love on him all night, as this I will always cherish as he was calm, and relaxed in our arms. When the phone call came in the morning from the Dr. asking us if it was okay to come, we were scared and sad, but ready. Our hearts are forever SO grateful for the kindness and gentle demeanor of Dr. Matt Renaker, who helped our sweet boy cross. I don’t think we could have done it without his care, tenderness, patience and true compassion. From beginning, middle, to end, the care we all received was what we never planned, but always wanted for him, and needed during this time. Sending a HUGE thank you to Lap of Love for helping our babies feel comfortable and say goodbye at home. Best 13 1/2 yrs I ever had, and what a peaceful way to say goodbye.

In the awful decision of having to put our baby to sleep, we couldn’t have been more comforted by choosing her for our home euthanasia. She was everything we needed. So kind, patient. Personable. Asked about our dog and things he loved, offered treats. Comforted us and kept us updated with every step. She let us know when it was time to give all the extra love and then was so empathetic after. I truly can say I am so so much more comforted knowing we made the decision going with Laps of Love and having it done in the comfort of his home. Thank you so so much for making this incredibly difficult time so much more peaceful and comforting. We will forever be grateful for you ❤️

This was the best decision we ever made to have this wonderful organization help us with our sweet little Sarah‘s passing. They are compassionate, professional, and understanding. During such a gut wrenching time it is so comforting to be there with your dog, and they explain the whole process. I highly recommend this company.
