There are no words to truly describe this hospital and its staff. My dog had multiple complications and had to stay over a month in ICU. Everyone was concerned about my dog's health and they all give as much love and attention as possible. She wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the amazing doctors and nurses (specially Dr Daubs who made his personal commitment to solve this case). You have the choice to go to any other hospital, but this one made me feel I did the right choice. My dog’s face after she got discharged says it all. Happy dog, healthy and now we have an extended family with all the hospital staff. They definitely went above all to make this possible.

Our 12 year old mix breed rescue dog Emma was referred to LeadER for cardiac evaluation by the neurologist at SEVN after a fall down our stairs and not being able to move at all. We transported her from Miami and she was seen immediately by the ER veterinarian and Cardiologist at LeadER. A comprehensive plan was put together by all the specialists involved for her best shot at recovering. She has been home for a week and is slowly improving, starting to walk and enjoy life as she had prior to her fall. Special thanks for the genuine kindness, care, and professionalism we received from ER Dr. Stavros, ER Nurse Valerie, and Patient Coordinator, Meg among many others.

I’ve been to this hospital for emergency situations with two different dogs and I could not recommend them more. As a healthcare professional for humans, I was blown away by the amount of knowledge and thoroughness that this place demonstrated. The interdisciplinary team works so closely together and makes sure that every decision is the best decision for the animal. Luz, one of the techs would send photo updates of the pup which was super reassuring. My one emergency situation didn’t end very well but the internist was so knowledgeable and made me feel confident that we had done everything possible & he didn’t give up until all questions were answered. My second visit I was lucky enough to have a happy ending & I owe it all to the entire team. Please don’t hesitate to take your animal here for ANY emergency. Skylar and Trooper are thankful for all of your help.

There are no words to describe how awful a d terrible experience we had in this place. First of all.we had been referred here by the regular vet. We had a first consultation around January about the heart condition of our dog. After receiving an estimate and paying we had been received by a nurse who took our baby to the back and bought him a few minutes later. The Veterinario Dr. Nick Shroeder had perform an electrocardiogram on him he came to talk to us about his condition the explanation took 2'. He seems in a rush and was super cold and not at all empathetic. The thing is our baby was doing a little worse we took him ti the regular vet and they again instructed us to come here. The nightmare starts. First of all.we received an estimate. Yes this is the first thing they will.give you whe. The Dr in charge of the ER Dr Johnson came to talk to us she only referred to.the estimate not to the Condition of the patient or the possible treatments. We had been asked to pass my the cashier to pay a the deposit of $4,500 !!!!! This was for a day at the ER to stabilize our Baby dog (7 pounds maltese) because they had no cardiologist on call. As they had our baby only with the diuretic injections and the oxygen we asked if we could bring him home and bring him back early in the morning to perform the electrocardiogram on him we had ben told by the nurse (Taty or Tatiana) that the cardiologist would not see him unless he spent the night in the hospital bc he was fully booked. Although he was his patient. We had been pushed to leave him overnight to have the electrocardiogram in the morning. When we said we were leaving for to take something to drink and come back to see how he was doing after the Injections we had been told we had to pay the $4500 before seeing him and leaving the facilities. Following their recommendation we left him overnight and went back in the morning. When we arrived I asked for the images of the echocardiogram to share with a different cardiologist for a Second opinion. Foe our surprised the echocardiogram was never done! I asked how the cardiologist diagnosed him and they responded with the XRays we brought from the regular vet and that they had performed a "short echorcardiogram" I requested the images, no images had been recorded. How could I trust they had done anything if they had no kind of report of any echocardiogram that are very complete and contain a lot of information. The only thing they said they did is to measure the pressure in the right lung.. no evidence of this either just a note. They never even put an IV on my baby they punched him every time they injected the diuretic every 2 hours ?? This was also.not precise. Not one question was responded as a ER hospital must respond. My baby was left in a cage with oxygen with oral treatment with the same medicines we took for him. After seeing g that lack of care, lies and negligence in treating a patient witb accused cardiac condition we decided to bring him home to continue with the treatment with the same pills and we recreated the oxygen cage condition with a rented equipment. They never gave us any options all they wanted was to keep.him.there to continue charging without giving the treatment you expect in a ER hospital mostly where the cardiologist was treating him.before it was his patient!!! Not to mention that we talked to them at 4:40pm saying that we were on our way to the hospital but the nurse assistant of that cardiologist whose first name is Edgar or "Edgardo" Said the cardiologist was off for the day and would not see him. After confirming my baby had not received the expected evaluation and tests he needed we decided to bring to a different cardiologist. We had been delayed at the office for almost 5 hours until we could fix take our aby with us. I honestly got mad when I found out they didn't even do what the echo they promised for an accurate evaluation, Stay away! SHAME ON YOU DR NICK SHROEDER, DR JOHNSON, EDGAR,TATTY AND ALL.THE STAFF THAT ARE PART OF THAT ORGANIZATION FOR WHOM YOU ARE SIMPLY AN ATM!! I would rate.it zero

We have been taking our pups to Leader for years now. This includes our previous baby as well. When it was her time, the team was so kind and gave us all the extra care we needed to l say our final goodbyes. Since we first rescued our current baby, along with her brother that my mother rescued, Leader has been our go to for any urgent and surgical matter. We have had them spayed and neutered with fantastic results and when they needed specialists for liver issue and emergency care, the staff has always been attentive and so loving to our pups which makes the experience even better. Dr. Groveman is spectacular. She is very knowledgeable, professional and caring. You can see she loves animals and even our super anxious dogs do very well with her and her nurses. 100% have recommended and will continue to do so.
