Hey Kendall, We are thrilled to review this fantastic Veterinary business @crossroadsahmiami in the ♥️ of #Kendallmiami A couple of weeks ago, we bought our first puppy, and after asking the audience on @wearekendall for their suggestions ,we finally found our vet💁‍♂️✌🏻 We are so happy to have this partnership with Crossroads AC at Kendall. Not only did they take care of us with excellent customer service while we were there, they also gave great advice and post visit instructions for our family. Their prices are super fair. This was one of the worst veterinary experiences I have had. I’ve taken my dog Winnie to plenty of vets over the years trying to find the right fit. I never write reviews but I feel pretty strongly that this place should be avoided, there are so many better options out there. When we moved close by I decided to try this out. First off, they take your dog into the back to do everything which typically I don’t prefer but I know this is common. Before the tech brought her in, the doctor came into the room complaining about how Winnie doesn’t like her nails cut. I was surprised because they told me they were taking her for vitals and never mentioned nails. I would have easily told them not to bother that we do it at home. I have never experienced a place that doesn’t ask permission to cut the dog’s nails first or at least ask the parents if she’s ok with that considering most dogs aren’t. When I told the doctor for them not to cut her nails he made a snarky comment. Since then Dr. Lerner gave off the impression that we were incompetent and he spoke down to us the entire time. He did not speak in full coherent sentences and It felt as if he was all over the place. It did not inspire confidence one bit. He made snarky remarks the entire time and overall gave an impression of an older vet who thinks he knows best and shouldn’t be questioned. They never told us they cut her nails at all and I was under the impression that they had tried but couldn’t because Winnie was too squirmy. When we got home we took her outside to play and go in the pool and now her two back nails are bleeding badly. I was so furious because this easily could have been avoided if they just asked us before. Not only did they cut her nails without permission they cut them too short and now she’s crying when she walks. I have a feeling they cut them short and put quick stop and didn’t want to tell us. When we got home and she ran around they probably opened back up and that’s when we noticed. I strongly suggest that if you want a veterinarian who would treat your dog as their own and who would make you feel that they are cared for and open to answering questions do not come here.

This place is probably the best vet you could ask for. The staff is professional, attentive, and caring, even knowing the names of all the patients. The techs are all very nice and take care of your pet as if it was their own, making a very stressful situation for them a lot easier. Dr. Mendez is a fantastic vet that is knowledgeable and thorough and makes sure that your pet leaves treated and on the way to feeling better. She figured out a gastro issue my dog was having that other vets couldnt as well as found a tumor that the other vets also never bothered to check for. My dogs quality of life was improved 110%. You can't ask for a better experience or vet. Highly recommend them for every situation where the vet is required.

I’m so happy a friend recommended this clinic to me. The vets are wonderful. I have mostly dealt with Dr Lerner who has been very caring and is extremely knowledgeable, always able to explain everything and share a lot of information, which I value greatly. He was instrumental in properly diagnosing my cat with cancer, which allowed me to get him the proper treatment, saving his life. Dr. Mendez is very sweet and also very knowledgeable and caring. The entire staff is super friendly and responsive and their care is very personal, but always professional.

The staff and Doctor Gordon- Mendez are the best in the business !!! I can leave my pup with my eyes closed and know they will take care of my boy ,No questions asked !!!
