Very unprofessional, we went in to buy shrimp and snails, all the snails were dead. All the tank lights were off, and the service was horrible. It took 15 minutes for anyone to help us in the fish area and the employee was standing there on her phone completely ignoring us. As soon as she finally walked over, she clearly did not want to do her job as she did not even want to check if any fish were actually there. The shrimp were underfed and malnourished, the snails were left dead in the tanks, and the employee refused to actually remove anything to access the requested shrimp. This was a horrible experience, and on top of it all an employee sold us the wrong product for a betta fish and killed my friends mom's fish for giving the wrong products. I'm very disappointed in the service today, this happened around 6:15 and by 6:30 we still had no help from the female employee. Do better petco.

Waited over 20 minutes for service to checkout. Poor elderly woman in front of me, also waiting, was getting tired quickly holding her 2 bags of cat food. While there was 5 employees walking around, nobody offered to help. Avoid this one! Also my sales receipt said i didn't receive the stated discount. Which also means I have to go back to get it adjusted. Very inconvenient.

Extremely horrible customer service. I've been here twice, and both times, I had to wait to be cashed out. The second time was absolutely unbelievable! I had to wait over 20 minutes before a cashier came to ring me out. Unacceptable! *To Petco response... The line had 2 people in it. Besides me, there was an older lady struggling to hold her items because they were getting heavier by the minute. THERE WAS NOT AN EMPLOYEE AT YOUR REGISTER...and we had to wait for employee, OVER 20 MINUTES!!! I just find that irresponsibly poor customer service!

Nate is my favorite person working here. He's the number one reason I go to this store. The dude is always so positive, incredibly helpful, and knows his stuff. This has become my go-to Petco store BECAUSE he works there and BECAUSE of how helpful he is. The substrate set ups for the replies at this location is MUCH better for the reptiles than the ones in the surrounding areas, particularly those using sand. As someone who has over a decade of experience with various species, it's nice to see someone using the proper substrates. The animals all look healthy. The fish tanks are well maintained. I used to legitimately hate this specific store. About 4 years ago I stopped going because anytime I did, I'd be sitting there in the fish department for anywhere from 10 minutes to a half hour before help would arrive. There used to be dead fish everywhere. There was a dead baby bearded dragon at one point. So I stopped going there. For a long, long time. Only on the last year and a half have I started going back and it's night and day how much better things are. Customer service is much better. The store is cleaner. The tanks are always clean. The animals are healthy and seemingly happy. It's become my go-to instead of the one in Auburn. Nate in particular is the one that's changed that. The dude will go over care requirements with you. He'll ask you how your day's been. He acts likes he's genuinely your friend who wants to help you when you go in. And since he got his new position, it's gotten much better as far as appearance in that store. I've so far bought at least two reptiles there I believe in the last 6 months. I may buy more. 4 years ago I didn't even bother looking at em. The tanks were just gross at the time.

Went into have my dog's nails trimmed during the grooming hours. No grooming individuals were in and nothing was posted or listed online that no one would be in. I was told I could be put on a waitlist for a nail trim, which is a walk in service. Will not be back based on how I was treated.
