They charged $12 to write a basic flee/heartworm/tick prescription because I wouldn't buy the prescription directly from their office. I don't buy directly from their office since it's less expensive to order via subscribe and save on Chewy. I've never been charged for the cost of writing a prescription following a vet visit like that. They also won't give you prescriptions longer than 6 months and don't allow Chewy to call for the prescription. I need to physically get this prescription from the vet's office and then mail it to Chewy. My new vet allows Chewy to simply call them for the prescription and doesn't charge anything for this service. The vet also writes the prescription for a full year. I think because this vet is located in the Grove, it doesn't run into issues upcharging customers. The vets themselves seem fine, but I would recommend going else where unless there's some emergency that requires you to go to this clinic.

I was traveling with my dog while visiting family and I was worried because he had been sneezing and lethargic. I brought him to Coconut Grove Animal Clinic and wow, what a great experience! Everything was so easy, and everyone was so kind. I didn’t even need an appointment, there were no extra charges or premiums. It was honestly very reasonable and inexpensive. They thoroughly examined and tested my boy, prescribed him antibiotics and he’s already feeling better. After 6 years of having my pup and going to vets in NYC, I think I’ll just continue coming here each time I travel!

The most caring, honest and wonderful veterinarian practice in Miami. Unlike so many practices in Miami they don’t charge you for tests or treatments your animal does not need. Highly recommend!

I had an emergency with my cat and was able to bring him in the same day. Everyone was friendly and helpful and they were able to refer him for an emergency surgery that saved his life.

A great clinic, I have used them for years with 3 different cats. The Doctors are knowledgeable and compassionate. The staff is great. The prices are fair, they don't rook you for every dime. I will keep using them.
