I was impressed by how beautiful and big this park is. So many different trails! A creek runs through it, which makes the place even more fantastic. There is a potable toilet. Was pretty clean. The only downside was that there was a good amount of dog poop on the trails. If people don’t bother to pick it up, the trail will become a mess the more popular it becomes. Caution: would also add to beware of other dogs. Not everyone will be alert or responsible owners. There was a van that came with about 10 dogs, only one had a leash on. I was sitting on the grass giving water to my 8 week old puppy when they all ran over and got on top of me while I tried to protect her and get up. The owners (or dog walkers) were very slow to react. I’m grateful she did not get hurt. They did apologize which was good, but they should be more careful. You can’t predict what a pack of dogs might do.

This accessible location makes it a prime spot for residents throughout Lewisburg and the surrounding areas of Pennsylvania. The park's address is easy to find, and its proximity to major routes ensures a hassle-free journey for visitors. Whether you're coming from nearby towns or making a dedicated trip, getting to Turtle Creek Park is straightforward, allowing more time for you and your dog to enjoy the outdoors. While Turtle Creek Park excels as an off-leash environment, it's important to note that it's largely unfenced, meaning dogs with a strong recall and good social skills will thrive here. This open layout allows for a sense of freedom and exploration that many traditional enclosed dog parks cannot offer. The beauty of this natural setting is truly its greatest asset, providing a rich and varied landscape for dogs to discover.
Services Offered:
- Extensive off-leash areas for dogs to run and play freely.

- Potable toilet facilities for human visitors, which are generally kept clean.

Similarly, while the creek provides a water source, a dedicated dog water fountain is not available, so bringing your own water for your dog is recommended, especially on warmer days. The emphasis here is on a natural, less-manicured experience, which many dog owners appreciate for its authenticity.
Promotions or Special Offers:
As a public park, Turtle Creek Park does not typically offer specific promotions or special offers in the traditional sense. The "offer" is the unparalleled experience of allowing your dog to run freely, explore vast trails, and enjoy the natural beauty of Lewisburg. However, local dog-related businesses or community groups may occasionally host events or meetups at the park. It is always a good idea to check local community boards or online forums for information on any potential dog-related gatherings or charitable events that might take place within the park's grounds.

Sep 21, 2024 · Michelle MartinezLarge area to let your dog run off-leash. I didn't find an enclosed area, but if your dog does well off-leash and does well with other dogs/birds/people, this is an amazing place for you and your dog. Many winding trails. A creek. The only downsides were the few and far between trash cans to dispose of poo bags and no water fountain(some people don't like letting their dogs drink from the creek). Other than that, I would say this place is just about perfect.
Aug 18, 2024 · John BrewerIt's a nice park, but lots of people with rambunctious and occasionally aggressive dogs off leash so be careful.
Apr 27, 2025 · Christopher StoweMy sister and I take our dogs to Turtle Creek Park because it is the best dog park around. Lewisburg has a large population of dogs that need to get out in nature. There owners seem to be happy there as well. Lots of birds and native trees and of course the creek for a beautiful and long hike.
Jun 16, 2024 · Cindy FordhamThe park isn't clearly marked from the road, but once you get into the parking lot it's a really nice spot. The grass and trails look well maintained. There's one metal picnic table and it has a porta potty on site. The fenced area that was here several years ago was removed.
