It’s a big sand lot; 3 laps around equals 1 mile. The sand provides great traction for the dogs and endless digging opportunities, which my dog loves. There are 2 water stations that are simple, yet well designed, with bowls tied to them. 3 picnic tables with a sunshade. Parking is across the street at Red Stone Park which is a very large sports field complex with a pond, picnic area, and restrooms. This park is great to walk in after the warm dog park. There are many shade trees and the grass is lush. Best time of day to arrive for this experience, in my opinion, is a couple hours before sunset.

It's exactly what it is advertised but fair warning there isn't a parking lot right by the dog park. Personally for me that travels with four dogs I need access to a dog park really quickly to get them all in without too much fuss having a parking lot right by the entrance is required and I wouldn't have put this one on my route had I known However everything else about the dog park is great. I just won't be returning cuz it doesn't suit my needs

Nice park. It has a water spigot for your pooch and plenty of space to run. The terrain is all sand which is good for your pup's paws but gets in their mouths and nose if playing fetch. Also you'll want to bring your sunscreen or umbrella as there is no shade. Definitely worth a visit.

I just had my dog’s leash stolen from this dog park. Beware that thieves are everywhere! Never leave your leash by the entrance if you want to be able to walk your dog home. Otherwise a great dog park.

Instead of hard dirt, this is sandy. Handles mild rain/snow better than the dirt-pack parks. Two water stations and several place to sit if you need. Our new favorite. Update: share structures are permanent now, which is nice. Well maintained park. I always wish for a bit more natural shade, but that's a nitpick. Sunday mornings are pretty busy if you are looking to have your puppy expend some big energy; I think there are some weekly (Sunday) park-goers that make that a routine. Other mornings have dogs for sure, but not like Sunday usually. Summer days are sparse when hot (not a shock).
