This is a great dog park. I appreciate how they have two separate dog parks on the same premises, one for smaller dogs under 25lbs and another park for larger dogs.

As a public park operated by the City of Anaheim, Olive Hills Park does not typically offer commercial **Promotions or Special Offers** in the traditional business sense. Its primary "promotion" is the consistent provision of a free, high-quality, and extensively equipped space for dog exercise and socialization. This inherent value is continuously available to all local residents, making it a fundamental amenity for the community.
However, the City of Anaheim Parks and Recreation Department, along with local animal welfare organizations or pet-focused businesses, may occasionally host various community events or pet-centric initiatives within Olive Hills Park or the broader park complex. These could include adoption events, pet health clinics, obedience training workshops, or even seasonal dog-friendly festivals. To stay informed about any potential future events or temporary programs that might occur at Olive Hills Park, it is highly recommended for residents to regularly check the official City of Anaheim website's parks and recreation section, local community event calendars, or relevant social media channels. Engaging with local dog-owner groups in the Anaheim area can also be an excellent way to learn about informal gatherings or special opportunities at the park.

May 01, 2025 · Anthony TeeWell kept, plenty of parking, doggy bags, & water stations. Small dog side and large dog side with safe and working entrances. Parks are huge and very well kept! It was empty on a Friday around lunch! Tucked away in a nice neighborhood, surrounded by nature and others up the hill playing tennis. No bad experiences with other pets or pet parents during my visits! I’ve only experienced the big dog section.
Jun 11, 2024 · Jen ReillyThis place is tucked away in a residential area. When I visited there were no other dogs as it was kind of warm. They have an abundance of tennis balls. Definitely would recommend a visit
Apr 21, 2025 · Michelle CamposOlive Hills Dog Park Review Nestled in Anaheim but bordering Orange, Olive Hills Dog Park feels like a hidden gem—mostly because it’s so hard to find. Unclaimed on Yelp and barely on Google, it’s like the park doesn’t want to be discovered. Once you do find it, you’re met with a mix of charm and quirks. The park’s got the essentials: a water fountain (one for the pups), some cement logs to sit on, and a little agility setup with a seesaw for doggy daredevils. The Astroturf is…well, a choice. Sure, it’s low maintenance, but it feels like playing fetch on a mini-golf course, and the debate over microplastics doesn’t help its case. The rest of the area is dirt with the occasional rock cameo, so dogs tend to stick to the middle. It’s small—really small—and while it’s open consistently (no random closure days), it could use better upkeep. The community vibe is cool, but not everyone picks up after their dogs, which only adds to the swarm of flies and mosquitoes buzzing around. If you’re heading here, pack bug spray and low expectations. For locals, it’s a convenient pit stop for their pups, but it’s no doggy paradise. Three stars for effort.
Jan 16, 2025 · Dilla DeeReally nice dog park with lots of space and things to do for your doggies. There's a really helpful holding entry where you can unleash your dog, and places for them to drink as well. I recommend either early morning or midday, as the evenings get really busy. If you have a dog that has trouble playing with others, this place is not recommended, but otherwise, it's a great spot in a very nice neighborhood.
